jrodsep
Bowling and darts--I just want to see the opening ceremonies with the beer guts on the darts & bowling teams!(I know not all bowlers and dart players have beer guts--but many I see on TV do--It would be even better if they marched in with a beer stein in one hand) I would love to see Pete Weber doing crotch chops and wearing shades in an olympic event. jrodsep
Golf shoudl be an Olympic Sport for sureYou hear there is a petition to make Poker an Olympic Sport now that will be ridiculous. Well Poker is kind of a good choice for an exhibition sport, considering that Ball Room Dancing was once considered to be an Olympic "Sport". Rugby was included as a sport in four Olympic Games (1900, 1908, 1920, 1924), and the United States claimed gold medals in both the 1920 and 1924 Games. Shortly after the 1924 Olympics the International Olympic Committee (IOC) removed rugby as an Olympic sport. uncle_wiggily
Actually, Tug-Of-War was an Olympic sport early in the 20th Century for the record. They used to have all kinds of cool sports in the Olympics! They had plunge for distance swimming, Roque, tug-of-war, Cricket and a swimming obstacle race!
