[Ritt Design]

I've always thought that Stanford should incorporate the tree as a design element more in their uniforms. Also, I always wanted to see them use the green from the logo on garments.  I may have gone a little bit over board with the tree elements on this first design but I think it there is something to it. 

 

Please let me know what you guys think or if you have any cool ideas that would work with this design.

I like the idea. What if the shoulders were a light gray to hint at the trees instead of the stark green contrast? Also, not sure of NCAA rules with a white jersey, so that might help in that area as well.

I think you'd have to raise the treeline to the neckline of the jersey unless it's a light grey color. I'd add a red outline to the tree on the pant leg as well.

@MJWalker45 @dakotapalm I do really like the light grey shoulders. And I think you are right in regards to the NCAA Rules. Still wanted to see that green in there so I changed the helmet

I'd add some green outline on the name and numbers will help too.

Funny story: my mom was a student at Stanford in the 1970's. She says the student body actually voted to change the college's nickname from Indians to "Trees." That was vetoed by administration, who applied the nickname "Cardinal" instead.

For all intents and purposes, I look at this as an alternate history concept...and that alternate history is glorious.
