DNAsports 6,209 Posted December 15, 2017 Unfortunately these aren't exactly associated with winning, but I'd still like to see a modern take: Or these: I still think the Redskins should have broken out some new throwbacks for their 85th season this year. These two would have been my top choices.

JH42XCC 224 Posted December 16, 2017 Could we see the Baltimore Ravens wearing "fauxbacks" based on these?

Danny the Sheeb 225 Posted December 16, 2017 Easily the biggest tragedy of the one-helmet purge. Other ones I'd like to see again would be the Cowboys and the Redskins' faux-leather helmet, if only to end the stupid "ah, let's just take off the stripes and give it a grey facemask and go with it".

With the resurgence, they should focus on building their brand for the future, not brining back stuff from the past. I love those Wolves unis, but they need to stick with new stuff.

chcarlson23 1,483 Posted December 17, 2017 I'd love to see these for the Wild's upcoming 20th Anniversary... Of course, not the edge version... Those sucked compared to these^^^ The stripes were way too thin, and of course, Reebok made it beige, and not gold. It's a small change, but it has a pretty impact...

smzimbabwe 218 Posted December 17, 2017 Either I'm too old or I've had it too long, but I got a Seahawks jersey for Xmas in 1986 that's now considered "throwback".
msubulldog 353 Posted December 17, 2017 Dolphins--1973 to 1986 kit; Patriots--mid 80s set (#PatPatriot); Bills--mid-late 70s set; Browns--original set from 1999 as "expansion" team; Jags--original set with Teal as primary; Chargers--late 80s-mid 2000s set; Redskins--anything pre-1979(don't know if I'd want a Lombardi or Allen inspired helmet); Eagles--mid 70s-mid 80s; Giants--80s/90s; Falcons--late 70s-late 80s as primary, with 1990-2002 black jersey as alternate; Rams--1973 to 1999; Seahawks--blue or white jerseys a la their AFC days with silver helmets or pants.

johnnysama 893 Posted December 17, 2017 I'm surprised the Canucks have not worn this much-talked-about ensemble for one night (they did wear the 1990s "skate" jerseys for one night a couple years back). This would be worth seeing again, IMO (and yes, I like this look). I hope the NFL repeals its 'one-shell rule' so that the Seahawks can bring these beauties back.
