I was totally expecting the 1985-96 purples, but I was holding out for these purples since it's what the Jazz wore during their first couple years in Utah -- and this will be their 40th anniversary in Salt Lake City. I was disappointed that it only lasted for one year. And green Jazz jerseys are a Utah thing -- never worn in New Orleans -- so it would make a good "city" edition jersey in the future (after the purple mountains' majestic return of course!)
