Their QB's also play like Jameis Winston, but instead of just one Jameis Winston, they have three of them.

dfwabel
Silvers is awful. Whadda think PacMan Jones? Only to be outdone seconds later by Tressman, who while up 9-0, did not go for either 2 or 3 to make it an XFL two score game. WTF?
Red Comet
Huh, that was a hell of a pass.

It looks like the tiers in this league so far are DC and Houston and everybody else. At least the chase for 2nd place will be fun in the watching a clown car crash into a highway divider fun. EDIT: Attendance at the Guardians-Defenders game was 15,031. Probably fudged somewhat, but it did get fuller as the game went on until the mid-4th quarter. Not too much of a(n announced) dropoff. DG_ThenNowForever
Business has definitely picked up in the second half of this Dragons game. It's cold and gross outside today. It's kind of nice to have some football on TV. XFL is currently 2 for 2 in my sports entertainment value meter. 1 hour ago, ShutUpLutz! said: and the drunken doodoobags jumping off the tops of SUV's/vans/RV's onto tables because, oh yeah, they are drunken drug abusing doodoobags
GDAWG
The score is 14-9. Tampa Bay Vipers are awful, who knows how attendance is going to be when they go back home.
Seadragon76
Tampa is the only team without a touchdown on offense so far... yeah, it's fair to say that the Vipers reek. As for Seattle: They mentioned at the start of the broadcast that it might be a crowd of 30,000 at the Clink. That's big for the first home game in Dragons' history. GDAWG
Didn't the XFL say all offseason that there would be high scoring games?

dfwabel
Like the AAF, it's not just poor QB play, it is also poor OL technique and skill. Granted more of these guys were playing in HS without playing in a 3 pt. stance.
GDAWG
30,000 for Seattle in their home opener isn't too bad. Isn't that how much the Sounders get?

GDAWG
That Seattle kicker was one missed field goal away from trying out for the Chicago Bears.

GDAWG
The clock stopping after every first down following the two minute warning doesn't make the game shorter.
Ferdinand Cesarano
The Tampa Bay touchdown that was called back shows why there should be no such thing as offensive pass interference. I wish the XFL had removed that nonsensical infraction from the rule book.
