The Guardians are doing a great job of perpetuating the image of New York-based football teams being kind of embarrassing lately.

Sad thing is they are probably the best NY football team right now

Need to see how they do against Fordham and Columbia first.

I wonder who McGloin will blame this one on.

He'll probably blame the equipment manager for not soundproofing his helmet before he blames himself.

The center's doing a good job. Gilbride is doing as good a job here as when he was last in the NFL.

Maybe he's a Jets fan, so he'll blame it on Adam Gase.

Jets have Adam Gase, Giants have Dave Gettleman and Guardians have McGloin so all three New York professional teams have that one team embarrassment.

It's Perez time!

And it took him 5 less games to throw a TD pass!

Wonder if the XFL considered Columbia University for the Guardians home stadium? You'd think the league (and more so VKM) would love to have some sort of connection to the Ivy League.

St. Louis showed up for their team, and the BattleHawks beat the brakes off the Guardians. Good for them.

Los Angeles looks like a Chivas USA match. Woof.

I want to see the Fox Duo of Kurt Menafee and Greg Olsen do a Seattle Dragons home game at Century Link, just to hear how many times they mention that he will be playing there in the fall.

So much for Anthony Johnson and Rashad Ross’ revenge game. LA has controlled this whole thing so far. Cardale not looking right at all, and Josh Johnson looking like a guy that is healthy and got reps.

This isn't the time for social commentary. Oh, you mean the team? Yeah, the Defenders aren't looking too hot.

Curious at the attendance for LA in their second home game. It was 15,000 last week.  A 7,000 drop in attendance for Seattle from it's first home game to it's second is a little worrisome.  Also there was a 5,000 drop off between the two DC home games.

I'm loving the XFL but this in game sideline interviewing crap has to end. Some of the dumbest questions I have ever heard. "What was going through your head while you were running this touchdown back"... WTF

Looks like it filled in a little more with the typical late LA arrivals, but still looks less than last week. Shame because their boys are putting in work. Looks like Winston Moss’ moves after week one are paying off.

So the XFL games on Fox are being used to promote the return of John Cena to WWE programming.
