Rite of Spring 2018-“What happens in the playoffs stays in the playoffs”

It only took me one period to change from indifferent to disgruntled about the Golden Knights. To hell with this franchise and their fans. Bunch of bandwagoning pricks.

Yea and your stupid "electro-drumline" thing is stupid and makes no goddamn sense.

"And then I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold on to it, and then it flows through me like rain and I can't feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life... You have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm sure. But don't worry... you will someday."

Seriously, the pens are looking like the good guys here. A third straight Cup means the preservation that the league isn't a joke.

The Bruins or Pens are your only hope. :D

The Sharks playing about as disciplined a game as the Oakland Raiders.

They're playing as disciplined as a kindergarten class.

I was really extra nice to everyone today and as a result:

- we lost our vball match 0-3

- the penguins game back from 0-2 to win 3-2

- the Sharks are being mercilessly filleted

Everything is awful and I hate it.

Eh......It'll probably Pens vs. Preds II: The Rematch

but Fleury vs. his old team (Pens) would be interesting.

I'm just imagining a parade down Las Vegas Blvd with Hookers & Pink Cadillacs.

The Golden Knights are going to win more second round series than Alex Ovechkin.

Is is there room for one more on the Vegas hate bandwagon?

I appreciate the effort man. Any other team and you’d be right. But Washington has a mental block about Pittsburgh in the playoffs like I’ve never seen any team have before. I saw something on twitter that said that this collapse feels like two games in one. That’s pretty accurate unfortunately.

Never more evident than when the puck hits Ovechkin's stick which 700 times out of 701 times he collects, turns, and makes the proper breakout pass, but last night it slides off, goes right to Crosby and Holtby misses the save. The penguins get so many of those little WTF breaks so often it makes no goddamn sense.

Caps needed to make hay while Malkin and Hagelin were out and they just blew their chance.

Well damn. Why I gotta go to hell? It’s hot there, and to be fair Las Vegas is plenty hot as it is. It’s just a game my guy.

It would be preferable to another Penguins cup because those are the worst people on the planet, but not by much.

It just feels artificial. It feels like something that would happen in a second tier arena football league. I get it now - they didn't want another Atlanta repeat, and they finally figured out it's bad for business for your expansion teams in new markets to suck ass for their first ten years. I wish they had realized that in 2000. It makes more sense to not make it so difficult on new markets and new fans, but they over-engineered things and made it too easy, which is why it's not a good story. They :censored:ed with the integrity of their standings and playoffs at the detriment of their existing franchises who've put work into building the league and building their teams. I'd be pissed if I was another owner, especially the McConnells who needed 17 years of bashing their heads against a wall to have a team as good as the Knights have without even trying.
