Boston has been so good that for a moment there I completely forgot that Kyrie Irving is still on the team. Imagine what they might look like next year with Kyrie and Hayward both healthy. Also, shoutout to my man Drew Bledsoe...

How?  They have to get past the Sixers first, and by my estimation they still can (and likely will) lose in 7.  Not sure how anyone would think it's a sure thing that they'll win one of the next four.

Marcus Smart is absolutely maddening.

This a million times. That’s last sequence was pure uncut Marcus Smart. Miss an important free throw, somehow botch things so badly that he makes a free throw he’s TRYING to miss, then making an incredible read to get that final steal.

the man is chaos personified.

And the four teams literally everyone expected in the Conference Finals make it. But this season was going to be different.

West, sure, but if the weirdness of the East this year wasn’t interesting enough, I don’t know what is. Only things that’re the same as last year are LeBron and Horford.

People just like to complain. The Sixers, Pacers and Bucks all played really well is losses. Even the Cavs/Raptors sweep had two legitimately great games.

Not that long ago, it was just Heat and Spurs every year. Or Mavs every year. Or Celtics. Or Lakers. Or whatever. It'll all change soon enough.

The EC is just annoying because for the past near-decade it literally just comes down to "Whatever Team Lebron is on". Nothing else has mattered.

I'll at least give The Dubs credit they built up their team the right way (Drafting, good trades, etc.) Aside from Durant bandwagoning them.

The Sixers have to go through their playoff lumps just like the Warriors did.

2013: Warriors upset Denver. Lose to Spurs.

2014: Warriors lose to Clippers.

2015: Warriors win the Championship.

Well, no matter where the road meandered along the way, we all knew it was going to come down to these four teams once the destination was within sight. It’s amazing how the NBA leaves enough intrigue out there to make even totally predictable entertaining to watch. It’s kind of the polar opposite of hockey, which has a ton of pairity but is basically an unwatchable mess.

Warriors vs Rockets

Three games is too small of a sample size to really gauge how they match up. They both won one game while the other squad was down guys, and the first game Houston won by one after a KD buzzer beater was Called off. That’s a VERY good setup for this series, and it should be one of the most competitive series we’ve seen in a long time. That being said, I don’t think this one is going to be as close as everyone thinks. Golden State has had injuries all season long and basically decided to coast through the entire second half of the season. That’s quite a bit of rest the Warriors have had and I really think that’s going to go a LONG way from here on out. I think it’ll be close early, but eventually the Warriors are probably going to run the Rockets off of the floor.

Dubs in 5, and part of me would be surprised if it’s even that close.

Celitcs vs Cavs

This is either going to be the biggest non-finals test Lebron has ever faced, or all those extra minutes are going to catch up with the Celtics and they’ll get the doors blown off. I honestly have no idea what to expect. They’re both basically playing to be the Warriors sacrificial lamb (I’m actually much more terrified of Golden State getting Boston than Cleveland).

Lebron in 7 because you’re dumb if you pick against him at this point.
