Dare I say that Utah will give Houston a very hard time?

it's hard to say if utah isn't just looking this good because OKC is a good matchup for them. jazz have good guard play for sure, but mitchell and rubio are no harden and paul. plus the rockets take threes at such an insane clip they're always a threat to blow ANY team out by 30.

Re: Jazz/Thunder, if recent history has taught us anything, it’s that 3-1 leads aren’t a shut door yet. So the Jazz aren’t in the clear quite yet, and I’m trying not to get ahead of myself. Oklahoma City is still a very great and talented team, and could flip the switch at any time. Nevertheless, I’ve been very happy with how well the Jazz have played. If there was any question as to how Mitchell would measure up in the playoffs, he’s answered that emphatically.

I have hope. But, I'm not sure we can shutdown their backcourt of Paul, Harden and Gordon.

Sure, anything can happen, especially with how the Jazz have played since January, but let's get past OKC first.

philly's on the verge of something incredible if:

1) fultz pans out

2) they can hit on that top 10 pick this year (or trade it for someone valuable)

i might not even want to sign a superstar this summer if i'm them. round out this lineup with some 3&D role playing veterans and they're golden.

you just hope they don't end up like OKC and 3 years from now, fultz isn't the only guy left on the team.

Meek Mill finally got out of prison today.  One of the Sixers owners was the one that picked him up, escorted him directly to a helicopter, which took him to the game, where he joined Kevin Hart in ringing the opening bell.

I was there, and I think Mill got the biggest pop of the night.

I don't know what's going to happen next season, but I think Wade just played his last game in the NBA. He's already done enough; there's nothing more to play for now.

Oh, and if the Thunder don't come back and beat the Jazz, George is going to be a Laker next season.

I'm not convinced management's going to want to hand out all those max contracts their core is going to want.

If the players buy in like Golden State has, they can stay strong for a while. I'm pretty sure it won't happen though.

Sixers should be fine contract-wise, as far as I can tell. Unless they do something stupid with a botched superstar signing this summer. But Embiid is already locked up for a max extension and the other guys they rely on won't need those max contracts for a while. I think Redick comes off the books this summer. Worst things IMHO is that I wouldn't have done that Covington extension, and getting hoodwinked by Boston on the 2017 draft trade cost them and Jayson Tatum a couple million dollars per year.

The Sixers might have a self imposed cap lower than what the league cap is.  Low salaries was one of the reasons why ownership allegedly bought into the process.
