johnnysama 892 Posted May 8, 2018 Unpopular Opinion: They won two in a row with these: And now, two CFL entries, first the 1985 Grey Cup Champion BC Lions: And the 1989 Grey Cup Champion Saskatchewan Roughriders:

ChicagoOakland 1,198 Posted May 8, 2018 On the same topic, that is not the best the Angels have ever looked in my opinion. It's close, but I'm still so partial to the mid-90's set. Bo knows good uniforms. (Off topic, but has he ever worn a bad uniform? Thank goodness he didn't sign with the Bucs.)

The Creamsicles are a fantastic uniform. And those are not the best Angels look. That goes to the one year 1971 set IMO..... the little "A" logo is terrific. And you know what? The 2011 Bruins qualify:
SFGiants58 14,260 Posted May 8, 2018 Gotta go with the 1957 Braves. They had the perfect color balance on display, what with the striped socks and the contrast-colored tomahawk. Just ignore the "screaming savage" patch, and you'd be a-ok. The 1967 Cardinals also qualify, for going all-in on the red cap (navy cap only works with a red bill). The Rawlings' Block NOB's (like what the Orioles currently use) also helped the look: As for other sports, I'd argue that the 1970-71 Bucks, 1973-74 Nets, 1988-89 Flames, and the 1966-67 Maple Leafs won big with their best looks.
San Diego 649 Posted May 8, 2018 2017 Chelsea. I love this kit.
orangefaniniowa 268 Posted May 8, 2018 The 1967 and the 2006 and 2011 championship Cardinals unis had great unis and didn't go overboard with them. However, I always will be a fan of the 1982 pullover Cardinals jerseys. It was the first time I got to see the Cardinals on television that year, previously I had to listen on the radio for Cardinals games. For me these unis will have a soft spot in my heart.
johnnysama 892 Posted May 8, 2018 Oh, the Seattle Supersonics.... how we miss thee..... and how we miss those uniforms, as well. (1979)

Those multi-stripes around every players neck have run their course. I've hated that stripey mess of a collar for a long time. The fact that Forrest Gregg added it is reason enough to get rid of it.

Those weren't terrible, but I thought they were rather generic and that they looked like too many other teams. The only interesting quirk about those is that the "CA" could be read as California Angels or the postal code for California.

For the Angels this was 1989 through 1992, when their classic look had matured into a button-down/belted uniform. For Chelsea this was 2008-09, with the beautiful collars. (They broke these uniforms out early, for the 2008 Champions League Final; but, unfortunately, they didn't win.)
Cosmic 6,465 Posted May 8, 2018 Have the Packers ever done just a single green stripe on the helmet? I'd be okay with dropping the white stripes on the sleeves, but I'd want the stripes on the helmet and pants to drop white, as well.

TenaciousG 872 Posted May 8, 2018 It’s arguable that their original unis are the best overall set, but Seahawks’ blue-white-blue are the best combo they have currently. They are 0-2 in Super Bowls with monochrome blue...
