AgentColon2
I know it’s a different time and age.....but didn’t Jerry Granville convince the Falcons ownership to switch to Black from Red?

Bluefalcon
It's not true that coaches have no input on uniforms. For example, Bill Parcells overhauled the Patriots uniforms in 1993, and had the Jets go to their modified throwbacks in 1998. Not saying he designed them, but he was the catalyst for the change in both cases. Joe Gibbs had the Redskins wear white at home starting in 1981 because it was what he preferred. When Ol' Man Gibbs came back in 2004, he let the players have input and we wound up with that atrocious white-on-white uniform more often than not. Some coaches probably could care less about the unis, or let the players/fans decide what the team wears...I'm looking at you, Sean Payton. Thank you NFL for not being bums about it. The NFL had already told the LA Rams before the season that they may wear the 1994-1999 throwbacks as many times as they so choose. The Rams only wore white for home preseason games and the first two home games to beat the heat.

That is spot-on correct. Myself, I didn't like those. I like their throwbacks with the red helmet and black jerseys.

AstroCree
It doesn’t seem like New Orlean fans even like the black pants. Every time they post this, I see plenty asking for the gold pants.

Their defense in white. Means nothing. COaches don't even really have say in what's worn on field. Those decisions are made before the season and submitted to the league. Only if the home team requests and the visitors approve can they be changed. Sean Payton lost a bet to Doug Pederson and the payment was to allow the SBCPE to wear green in NO. That all happened in the offseason and was submitted well before any deadline. Well I meant mostly in terms of combos (pants). For example I don't think Mike Zimmer would ever let his team out their in mono purple (and hasn't other than the mandatory CR year).

RayFinkle
Chiefs vs. Colts is gooooood looking! And played on grass! Outside. With some snow. Beautiful.
DG_ThenNowForever
While I think that Chiefs at home vs. Bills on the road is the greatest possible NFL uniform match (with the Bills either in white or blue pants), today's match-up is a close second. This is really handsome football viewing. For a team without much actual on-field success, it's pretty impressive the way Kansas City has maintained its brand through the years. 1 hour ago, ShutUpLutz! said: and the drunken doodoobags jumping off the tops of SUV's/vans/RV's onto tables because, oh yeah, they are drunken drug abusing doodoobags
GoHawks
How would you guys feel about color v color games becoming a thing other than color rush? I personally would've loved to see the Chiefs vs Colts with both teams in their home uniforms and tomorrow Patriots in their home uniforms and chargers in powder blue (if the league would allow it)
Mitch B
The Rams' navy helmets stick out like sore thumbs against their royal blue with today's HD TVs. I'll take their color rush uniforms to these any day. "Of course, that's just my opinion. I could be wrong." Dennis Miller
