The striping would look better without 'em. Otherwise, the Marlins' new look translates well to a hockey uniform. I really dislike the black numbers on the black uniforms. I won't blame you for that, since that's the way the final design is. But, I think you made it somehow readable by thickening the trim and the shadows, so I applaud you for somehow fixing a design gaffe. What font did you use for the numbers? I would try just taking the home jersey and swapping the green and white in the striping, maybe add green shoulders if it looks too white heavy.
