Gobbi Posted June 20, 2018 Share Posted June 20, 2018 Living in BC, I've always thought a junior Hockey team called the Nanaimo Bars would be a fun idea. For those who don't know, Nanaimo is a city on Vancouver Island with a population of just over 80,000. I toyed around with a concept a while ago that utilized a brown-pale yellow-brown striping pattern to mimic what a Nanaimo Bar looks like. I'm lousy at creating logos though so I never did anything else with it. Given that a nickname of "Bars" couldn't really be visually represented on its own, I thought a cursive "Bars" wordmark similar to the Regina Pats would look decent but I don't even have the illustration skills to do that.
