Now it's back but at the bottom next to location and favorite logos. It's all condensed a little too much. The old placement was better, but it might still be a work in progress. spartacat_12 Posted June 14, 2021 Share Posted June 14, 2021 I have noticed that there are some banner ads popping up at the bottom of my page that don't go away when I click the 'x'. It is the darker shaded ones that get bigger in the middle like a trapezoid. This is preventing me from clicking the 'quote post(s)' button when using the multi-quote feature. I know everytime I clear my cookies/cache I have this happen on all sites I have checked "remember this device" on. It sounds like your browsers aren't saving cookies. I just clicked on the little bell icon thingy and tried to check notification history and it even says that there's been none. For example, if I'm posting from in phone, I have to log in on the phone. Then when I go to the laptop, I need to log in there. If I go back to phone, I need to log in again. It's not the bug where you just click the banner and you're good - I'm literally being logged off any time I use a different device. I use three devices, so that's a little annoying. Anything anyone can think of that would cause this? Note - up until Saturday, I hadn't had to log in using the email address for user name - I had just been logged in under my username forever. I got a new phone on Saturday, so that was the first time I needed to log in using my email address, and that's when this issue started. I'm guessing your username and password is saved as the log in but in June it changed to being email being needed instead of username. Just a guess. I've had that issue with sites like NFL Sunday Ticket and NBA League Pass and it's infuriating. But with those sites, I was mostly logging in via TV and that's the worst possible way to enter a password. My way to solve that issue was canceling both of those services and doing streaming instead. I don't think there's a stream version of CCSLC. EDIT: Also, the favicon for this forum is different than others.
