Don't know what Iverson/Lue had to do with anything, but this sync is pretty dope.

NFL players would rather be NBA players. And. An can you blame them? More games, but less hurt and way more pay.

Or he's petty as hell towards pretty much everyone.

I feel like this is probably the reason why he’s going to be really good, though. Part of the pettiness he holds comes across as more of a competitive spirit to me. Would you rather have him playing with a chip on his shoulder all the time and using that to his advantage, or a guy like Manziel who did :censored: like make red eye flights back to Cleveland all the time to catch morning meetings because he was out partying in Vegas or at the NBA finals in San Antonio the night before?

Maybe be he is a sociopath, but so was Brett Favre.

Also, Hugh Jackson ain’t :censored:. If anything, it’s a good sign that he’s trashing him the way he is because he’s probably being honest, at least.

Its so strange to me when sports fans constantly clamor for a guy with that kind of an edge, and turn around and bash him when he actually shows up.

Well, according to the standings, they're second best.

Given the options I have, I trust the standings.

Second best team? Debatable... Their defense is so-so and while they have some good weapons on offense (and Brady obviously), teams such as Pittsburgh and Houston (arguably) have much better players IMO. I think it has more to do with them outsmarting teams that are better than them. Just my opinion.

I mean... that counts, right?  Coaches are part of a team, and if one team's coaches are smarter than the other's, it's not much different than if one team's receivers are faster than the other's.

Yeah, and it shows just how great Belichick is, but we already know that.

Dude, I say this as an avid hater of the Pats (look at my post history), but they're the second best team in the AFC. They beat both the Chiefs and Texans and we all know what they do to the Steelers on a regular basis. They aren't as good as they were last year nor are they better than the Chiefs, but right now, I'd rank them as the second best team in the AFC.

I'm not sure that's how this works.

Out of all of his accomplishments, it's absolutely stunning that Drew Brees has never won NFL MVP.

The NFL is lucky that Pat Mahomes and Jared Goff have emerged to lead the new generation.  Throw Mitch Trubisky in there too as he's having a good year and Deshaun Watson is doing well too.  Those four will be around for the next decade, especially in the next few years as we see Brees, Brady, Manning, Rivers, Roethlisberger all retire.  Although it's early, Baker Mayfield could be the solution to the Browns long term woes, but again it's early.  Dak Prescott will probably end up more like his predecessor Tony Romo.

They’re all great talents but I don’t think the NFL is lucky. Every generation is going to have its standout stars. It’s not like Brady, Rodgers, and Brees were going to retire and then we’d have to wait 15 years to see a good QB again. There was always going to be a group of guys on the horizon.

Reading more about the whole Washington/Foster situation as well as listening to it some on the radio today. It all leads to one conclusion:

What an absolute joke of a franchise.
