Bears look like this year’s Jags.

Great defense, good running game, terrible QB and a surprise divisional championship.

They’ll be a tough out. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them in the NFC title game.

Trubisky will be their downfall though. He’s trash.

Cowboys - Lakers - LAFC - USMNT - LA Rams - LA Kings - NUFC

Was it the right call for the Bears to let Leonard Floyd keep playing even though he limped to the sideline a couple times?

Statement from officials "... we had evidence that there was a fumble, but with the camera angle we had, we could not confirm that there was a clear recovery by philadelphia"

The replay guy in NY (or the head ref - not sure exactly who makes that call... so let's just say this goes for both) needs to contract a terminal illness and pass away.  I pray he gets some worm or parasite that eats him from the inside out.  Fast enough that he dies soon, but slow enough that he feels it and his peers can see it and take it for an example.  I hope he has kids - specifically young daughters - that watch him deteriorate into nothing.  Ideally there would be a LOT of blood, most of it coming out from his eyes like tears.  His daughters would run out to embrace him as his worthless body takes its final breath, and would walk away with his blood tears all over them.  Didn't have the "camera angle" when literally any angle you looked at it looked the same?  You didn't have the "camera angles" to see what millions of people saw, when you have access to the same angles (and more!) then we do?

Easy for Dallas fans to be big about this game, when you're team is playing for something. Don't act like it wouldn't be different if the Cowboys weren't on the wrong end of the fix - and don't pretend for a second that there wasn't some intentional influence in this game.

Do the Bears ever have a QB that's not trash?  When  was a kid it was Jim McMahon, who (despite being my all time favorite Eagles QB) was widely considered to be the worst SB winning QB of that era (because they obv won with their D and Payton.)  They it was what - Harbaugh/Tomczak, bunch of jabronis, Grossman, Orton, jabroni, jabroni, jabro... you get the point.

Just like the Flyers will never have a goalie, the Bears will never have a QB.  Front offices for non-championship teams usually turn over on a not-infrequent basis - I wonder if there's some higher-level issues that need to be tackled.

Was that the SAC vs LAL series?  If so, I did see most of that, and yeah - that one was... "highly questionable".

Yes, it was. Pun not intended, but Sacramento was royally screwed. Admittedly, I feel that it had more to do with getting the ratings from a Game 7 more than an outright fix to get the Lakers to the NBA Finals.

It’s gonna be THE most NFL thing ever to have a season this fun and still end up with a Cowboys-Pats Super Bowl.

Grossman was a jabroni. He had a weirdly good half-year that one time, but lost the Super Bowl to Peyton Manning's Colts which basically cements Grossman as the ultimate jabroni. This doesn't necessarily apply to Cam Newton's Panthers since they didn't lose to Peyton's corpse as much as they lost to Von Miller using God Mode. Though in hindsight, maybe it does apply to Cam.

The two most popular teams facing off sounds like an NBA thing. The NFL would be more likely to make the Vikings and Titans face off.

Although based on some of the games this season, Mitch has a higher upside than Bortles.

Bortles threw 21 TD's in 16 games last year- Trubisky already has 20 TD's with 3 games left.

Bears earned this one. Hard fought win.

Rams might lose only one more game after tonight, but I'm still confident this was just an off-night for those guys.

If the Rams were going to have an off-night, in the cold against a Bears team that needed this game after that Giant clunker was probably the spot for it to happen.

Wow, what a freaking game between the Ravens and Chiefs. We really should’ve won that but I don’t mind it too much considering we gave one of the NFL’s top 3 teams a serious run for their money. Gotta cut down on the mistakes though. 100+ penalty yards and a deep in our own territory fumble are absolute killers.

The Ravens had 198 yards rushing...... but 100+ penalty yards is hard to overcome.

Ironically, the Chiefs were a heavily penalized team and this time it was the other team that shot themselves in the foot.

Nearly 2 pages of posts on the Eagles/Cowboys refs...... somehow, on a day where Miami pulled off the improbable and BAL/KC was the game of the day, we're talking about the NFC East again.

It’s more than just bad referees. It was so outrageous I’m legitimately and clear-headedly suggesting that the game was intentionally weighted.

The Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles - or at least the legitimate construction workers who are wearing their uniforms aren’t good, but neither is Dallas, and the league needs Dallas to be in the playoffs. Dallas would not have won that game had it not been for officials. It was Danny Davis - WWE-level officiating, and it took away any faith I had that the occasional game isn’t fixed.

Really @SabresRule7361, five posts in a row? Is it that necessary?

New England is still the AFC Champion until someone beats them in the Playoffs, although they did not look great today.

The AFC just sucks in general at the moment. The Chiefs looked completely vulnerable yesterday and gave up 54 points to the same team that only scored six last night. The Patriots look ordinary. The Texans are still the Texans. The Steelers, like every other year, cannot get out of their own way. The Chargers actually look decent, but have still lost 9 straight to the Chiefs (and had a terrible loss to Denver). The Ravens are still mediocre, along with the Titans, Dolphins, and Colts. The only team that really excites me in the AFC are the Browns, and that's because their 20 years of misery finally looks to be coming to an end.

Need a rule clarification here:

The SBCPE challenged that the opening kickoff was a fumble, since it was not called one on the field (despite being rather obvious.)

The officials said that replay confirmed that it was a fumble, but there was no evidence of a recovery (LOL.)  The Eagles lost the challenge, and a time out.  Amidst all the confusion since the Cowboys had already conceded the play and had their defense on the field and there was lots of shuffling, the point got missed that technically they won the challenge.

Why were they charged a time out and lost one of their challenges?  Pederson said something like he was in such shock that the timeout part of it didn't even cross his mind.
