After 20 seasons since the Browns rebooted we finally have our franchise QB. The future looks bright. For the first time in almost 30 years watching Cleveland football is fun again.

After what happened the first times these two teams met..... yes

The Raiders have been better at home, and the Chiefs were probably thrown off a little bit by the Hunt drama that Friday. On the road the Raiders have only beaten Arizona, and have lost to the 49ers by 31 and a Jeff Driskel led Bengal team by 14.

Seattle started 0-2... they've gone 9-4 since and are now playoff bound. I'm happy.

What a game that was. I normally don't stay up for a Sunday night game. But I figured since I'm off today, I'd watch the Seahawks try to clinch a spot. I'm glad that I did. The defense looked suspect at times but they were playing KC so I'll give them a pass there.

The main story is Russell Wilson. He was given a lot of criticism after signing the lucrative extension but he has definitely earned it this season. He is one of the best QBs in the league and last night proved that. He should get serious consideration for MVP.

If you’re the Bears, do you play your hardest to beat Minnesota in hopes that you’ll get the 2 seed (which still isn’t likely) and set yourself up for a 1st round matchup with the SBCPE, or do you rest players and lose, knowing it would knock the SBCPE out and potentially get you a better matchup?  Better question is which matchup the league wants to see.

It's amazing to see a QB that actually has what his previous incumbents didn't; swagger and moxie. Now, I'm not saying Baker is going to be a HOFer, but he's at least better than the plebs like Cody Kessler, DeShon Kizer, or Johnny Football.

You want to play hard for the bye week.

Russell Wilson has been a top 5 (if not top 3) quarterback for a long time. I'd rather have him than cranky-ass Aaron Rodgers, that's for sure.

Right - no doubt, but might it already Ben out of reach by the time their game starts?

Had they fired Hue Jackson prior to the season like they should have, they may be in a position to do so right now.

OAN, Indy beating NYG plus Baltimore beating San Diego LA I believe all but guarantees the Snatit misses the postseason. It's their own fault for waiting 14 freaking weeks into the season to discover some sense of a consistent offensive identity. (Okay, it's a combo of Matt LaFleur forgetting he has a 6'3" near-250-lb running back on the squad, said 6'3" near-250-lb running back doing too much dancing and not hitting holes decisively as he has been in recent weeks, and probably both LaFleur and Vrabel finally realizing the Patriot Way™ doesn't really work outside New England--oh, and Mariota's inconsistency at QB, which as much as I admire his toughness and heart as a player and a person, has been maddeningly irritating to watch.)

It appears I misread the scenario...thanks to Pittsburgh's choke job in NO, apparently they are the ones missing the playoffs. (I should laugh at that, but I'll let it slide this time.) It's win-and-they're in for both Indy and the Snati--okay the Titans, which puts a HUGE premium on this upcoming game (and now how big does that gaffe up in Indy loom for Tennessee?). Apparently, the winner still has a shot at even winning the division should Houston somehow lose to the Jaguars. Craziness.
