JCRGraphix
I risked a great deal to smuggle these to you, but I was able to get my hands on a media guide comic from the Mezhdunarodnaya Federatsiya Sotsialisticheskogo Hokkeya (International Socialist Hockey Federation). So that I don't compromise my source, I can only share one page at a time, so here we go. The ISHF is an 8 team league all from Warsaw Pact nations. The first team I was able to get info on is the Baikonur Cosmonauts from the Kazakh SSR.
DTConcepts
Why is the text in English though? All jokes aside, this is awesome, as always. I can't wait to see what this brings! "You ain't gonna learn what you don't wanna know..."

Htown1141
Easily one of the coolest ideas for a concept series I’ve seen in a while, and the way you’re doing it is really creative. I’m in love with this already, and the logo looks fantastic, reminds me of Marvin the Martian for some reason I have a dribbble! Thank you jaha32! JerseyJimmy
oh my god I'm already in love very Fort Wayne-esque... was that intentional?
JCRGraphix
Thanks for all the feedback, it does appear that the Cosmonauts have a similar look to the Fort Wayne Komets, however, the orange uniforms were really meant to copy a cosmonaut's suit with an orange body and white gloves and helmet. The black pants break up the look and add balance, as they looked pretty rough in all orange. Good news folks, my source was able to smuggle me another page, this time from East Berlin. He has assured me that he will be able to deliver the rest, however I do worry for his safety.

JCRGraphix
As promised, I just received today's page. The Gorky (Nizhny Novgorod) Stags are lead by one of the oldest players in the league, the Soviet answer to Gordie Howe.
DoctaC
Gorky looks great like the rest of them, my only concern is that their uniforms are very similar to Berlin's. The NAFA - North American Football Alliance
JCRGraphix
With security cracking down around the Berlin Wall, I'm not sure what my source will be able to get me, so I'll share another tonight. From the Ukrainian SSR, the Kiev Tridents.

It is nice) but trident? in soviet era communists hated this symbol very much, because they fought against UPR(Ukrainian People's Republic) which used trident as coat of arms.
