Agreed. However i can see the allure of using a bevel when the unique part of your main logo is a sword.

Maybe if the swords were silver, bevels may add a nice touch but they are blue or orange. I don't think there is a need for beveling on the swords.

Reminds me when Oklahoma State added the bevel and then had two different shades of orange.

Not a fan of the beveling but then again I rarely ever am unless it is silver white combo. I hate adding a second color to a palette just for beveling or shadow.
