hendocfc
The court design and side panel on the two "main" ones (white/navy) are very "70s/80s graphic design" esque. The uniforms themselves are kind of "empty"...

floydnimrod
Ohhhhh I just noticed the side panels are one-side only (home and away). I like these, a lot. As a Grizzlies fan, I'm happy. Mancakes: The Bandhttps://twitter.com/FloydNimrod

BJ Sands
I said it on the NBA 2018-19 thread and I'll say it here: the franchise really should've changed its name after moving from Vancouver. They're trying to marry the Memphis motif with a grizzly bear name and primary logo. Those are two things that just don't go together. Memphis Blues would've been so perfect. (These uniforms are fine. Would like some yellow on the white set, but they're fine.)

Or do you just not like it? Basketball jerseys have less real estate in the upper back above the numbers simply because they are tank tops, but there’s no such issue with the area underneath the number. Actually, this kinda seems like the stupid way to do it, no? 2 hours ago, Old School Fool said: I can't be the only one who realizes the shorts are a reference to the final Vancouver uniform right? I believe it’s a reference to the Mississippi River running down the west side of the city. Come on, do you really think the names look good down there? No team should have names below the numbers in the modern NBA. I think that aspect of the uniform is stupid because it obviously doesn’t look as good as it would with the nameplate above the numbers, yet they rolled with it. I find that stupid. AstroCree
Not a fan of names UNDER the numbers. They've always looked awkward. Are armhole piping's just gone from existence on NIke jerseys? Every basketball jersey that misses some sort of piping on the armhole looks unfinished.
-Akronite-
The two-tone bear still feels a little awkward since we're used to it in three tones, but the logos are fine. The jerseys are solid, though I'm not usually drawn to one side paneling. The Nike trend of single color collars as well as ignoring arm piping is lame. It always makes me think of poor replica jerseys and I wish they'd stop, especially since the primaries clearly need some yellow to give them some life. The alternate is a solid look and I like the overall design though. Overall, lateral move but I like some of the new elements.

I"ve been making the point for years that the name should go below the number on basketball jerseys. It makes so much sense. The only reason it might look bad is that people aren't used to it. Be the NBA team to own brown Memphis! Theyre trying to have a uniform that represents the location (sorta) while having a name/logo that’s totally different. A better solution would be to change the name altogether. While led I think brown could work for someone, it doesn’t work at all if they’re trying to evoke images of neon signs and Beale street "The views expressed here are mine and do not reflect the official opinion of my employer or the organization through which the Internet was accessed."
