LETSGOBLUEBEATMSU Posted August 23, 2018 Share Posted August 23, 2018 The 2018 High School football season kicks off tonight here in Michigan so I thought it would be a good time to start this up again. Please post what local schools in your area are wearing or any other schools you happen to find. Now that we are in the 2018 season I see more and more schools switching to one of the 3 big brands (Nike, Adidas, UA) however there are still some schools wearing brands like Wilson, Riddell, Russell Athletic. I also see more schools usually the bigger ones following the college teams and adding multiple alternate uniforms and in some instances alternate helmets. FightingGoldenDevil Posted August 24, 2018 Share Posted August 24, 2018 The Lakeview Lakers of Cottonwood Minnesota got new uniforms this year. I was the only one of the eight people making the uniform decision to vote against these because I didn't like the random spot of grey on the shoulder pattern. I really like the royal blue numbers on the away though. SSmith48 Posted August 26, 2018 Share Posted August 26, 2018 My school, Mountain Vista, has worn the same Nike uniforms for the past 10 year (or something around that time). We finally decided to change to Adidas this year and will be implementing various parts of our uniform over the next 2-3 years. However, our green and white uniforms have not come in, and it has already been the first game, so instead we had to order "stock" Adidas uniforms, which we will wear for the first 3-4 weeks. These are in the Techfit Hyped template (what Rice is wearing) and fit better than the 3,000 templates we had last year. Here are some pictures of the white uniform (the only one we have right now): Our previous white uniform for comparison: When I get some of the other uniforms I will update this. Only change is the word font and side/pant striping that wasn't there last year. Strasburg is using a giant tiger paw instead of the Eye of the tiger they used last year. Massillon (OH) Tigers. New orange uniforms that replace last year's. New font, removed Tigers from the pant legs, Obie mascot on the right hip, Baylor stripes on the pant legs with Tigers above it. Helmets are a holdover from previous years. 124 on the front bumper stands for the 124th season of football. Dover is doing the same this year, there's in 116. I haven't seen this before. Glen Oak Eagles. Switched from the Philadelphia Eagles helmet logo to an Ohio State knockoff with numbers on each side. They also appear to have gotten rid of the Green Bay logo on the pants. Massillon Tigers with the best look they have. My alma mater River Ridge High School (New Port Richey, FL) has new black home jerseys this year. Our colors are purple, silver, and black and they tend to swap between purple and black home jerseys every so often. Elephants are an under-utilized mascot in my opinion.
