The blue pants predate the white ones actually.

True . . . but that was even before my lifetime.  ?

Off topic -- Someone today should use that Redskins number font.  It's pretty simple, but not quite standard block, so it would be unique in today's NFL.

Can I nominate the Colts? That font looks like it'd fit right at home for them.

Then don't. B) Seriously though, if you think advertising your blog posting the weekly uni-watch votes adds to the thread, feel free.

I was being sincere on my post. But if they didn't add votes to the thread then I wouldn't add a link. I usually see about 10-20 votes added to the total after I post it on this forum. I wish you'd work with me as the opinion of one person is okay, but the opinions of a large number of people speaks louder than one. As far as my blog, thank you mentioning it.

That's not a bad choice at all.  They could also consider the serifed block they used in Johnny U's heyday.

The Rams would also be a good choice if they go traditional with their new uniforms.  It's somewhat similar to these.

Relax, dude. I was just goofing around. Post away. I like what it adds to the thread.

The 50's Rams blue with gold letters over white is CRIMINALLY underrated as a combo. It's so crisp and refreshing you could call it a salad and sell it for 20 dollars in Malibu.

It looks like the number font USC used before it changed to its current custom font:
