Is it possible to have a copy of a championship trophy from one of the big 4 made?

Let's say I'm a billionaire and one day I decide that I want a copy of the Stanley Cup, the Larry O'Brien Trophy, the Lombardi Trophy and whatever the hell the World series trophy is called? Is it possible and legal for me to pay the companies that make them to make copies for me? I've seen pictures of Michael Jordan's trophy room and I'm pretty sure he has six O'Brien trophies in it. And before you say, "Well, you aren't Michael Jordan and you have no affiliation with any team or any of the leagues," well, duh. this is a hypothetical and remember that you literally can buy ANYTHING if you throw enough money at it.

Well the Lombardi, Commissioner's, and Larry O' Brien trophies are made new every year.

There's a few trophy companies that make replicas of the Lombardi trophy. The MLB and Stanley Cup would be more difficult to get I would assume. The O'Brien isn't a difficult trophy to remake either.

EBay has knockoffs of the Super Bowl and English FA Cup trophies floating all over the place. You'll get what you pay for though. Some are pretty cheap because they obviously put no effort into making them look as good as what they are copying.

These look like good replicas of the Lombardi Trophy and the Larry O'Brien Trophy.

 

I remember finding a decent CFP trophy replica during halftime of this year's game. That went well.

Technically, it's not a replica. There is the original. And there's the current one. The original is where the old champion bands get moved to when they're retired from the current cup. The cup and the bands and everything else that is the Stanley Cup today is not the original Stanley Cup. But, it's been slowly replaced in pieces over the decades.

Well there's the Original, which was replaced in the 60's for being too fragile, and then there's the Presentation Cup, which is exactly as it sounds, and then the replica of the Hall of Fame that is put on display at the Hall of Fame, when the presentation Cup is gone. Like when Ovi is drunk in a pool or sleeping with it...

Honestly you could find just about anyone to make a replica of these trophies if you’re really after one. And I doubt it’d cost you more than a few hundred bucks. If you can find someone who specializes in making trophies (trust me, they’re out there) and is good with metal plating/powder coat/ect, it wouldn’t be that hard. You wouldn’t have the IP on it or anything (of course) but you could probably get a damn near identical copy. Custom fabricators can do just about anything if they’ve got the skill.

The same eBay seller that has the VLT and the LOBT listed above also sells World Series trophies and Stanley Cups, although the cost is significantly more (perhaps because so much more engraving is necessary). A World Series trophy will run you $2,500, while to hold Lord Stanley's mug, you'll shell out $5,000.
 

   

PS. They also offer a UEFA Champions League trophy.
