CC97
Quick question: With the Oilers and 'Runners sharing the arena, will BOTH logos be displayed on the ice. The Ottawa Senators and Ottawa 67s (OHL/CHL) did that for a few seasons in the early 1990s --- Chris Creamer Founder/Editor, SportsLogos.Net "The Mothership" • News • Facebook • X/Twitter • Instagram
Reaper
Awwwwwwwww, why? Why?Simple answer: Because Pat Laforge running the Oilers organization is like having Tom Green run a daycare. Sure, the intentions might be good but being crazy and unqualified doesn't help when real decisions have to be made.
Reaper
Quick question: With the Oilers and 'Runners sharing the arena, will BOTH logos be displayed on the ice. I figure the Oilers would be displayed if it were only one. I just wonder if there is a way to display both. Would the NHL allow it? Or would they have to remove or cover the'Runners logo for an Oilers game. Would the on ice sponsors have to sponsor both teams. I would expect that only the Oilers' logo will see 100% face time on the ice at Rectal...I mean Rexall Place.Ad space on the ice is too costly to give it up to another team's logo set and the NHL would probably insist on full focus marketing of the Oilers' logo.Of course, in the event of a lockout you will probably only see the Roadrunners' logo at Centre Ice anyways. Frenchie
Looks like the roadrunner had too much to drink last night. The moral of this story:Don't leave your JOLT COLA lying around a RoadRunner...What an ugly logo...Too bad, 'cos the wordmark is nice and the colour scheme decent...p.s.: What's that old brand of performance exhausts with the Woodpecker's face @Frenchie_TO Owner of the Rochester Americans of the MLH Owner of the Toronto Frenchies of the GCFHL6

Gary
as an 18 year Phoenix/Toronto/Edmonton Roadrunner fan I for one am ashamed to be a Roadrunners fan. Bring back Rocky and get rid of that ugly looking logo

DEAD!
Of course this raises another question: What's a roadrunner doing in Canada?I did find it funny that the Coyotes and Roadrunners played in Phoenix simultaneously for one year. I saw, I came, I left.

Dilbert
I like the lay-out, I don't mind the font. But, the "Chucky" RoadRunner has to go! A RoadRunner with sharp teeth?? It would look a lot better with the old logo RoadRunner head in place of this one. It would be updated, yet tie in to the old logo.Quick question: With the Oilers and 'Runners sharing the arena, will BOTH logos be displayed on the ice. I figure the Oilers would be displayed if it were only one. I just wonder if there is a way to display both. Would the NHL allow it? Probably the Roadrunners if the oilers dont take to the ice this fall Signature intentionally left blank

Suigi
I, for one, like the new logo. This way, Warner Bros won't get their knickers in a twist over the similarities between the two Road Runners. Now, as for Universal Studios and Woody Woodpecker...no resemblence.
