Sport
The Red Sox just won 4 straight against an Astros team that will be their toughest competition this postseason. I have the Red Sox in 6. Not saying the Dodgers can't win this series, but they're gonna have to be better offensively than they were against Milwaukee and they'll have to do it against tougher pitching. Their bullpen has been strong in the playoffs so it'll be up to the starters to keep the potent Boston lineup in check (granted, there's a difference between the Rockies, Braves and Brewers and what they'll get with the Red Sox). I think Kershaw can do that, but he will need to win both his starts and maybe Madbum it in Game 7 if the team has a shot at all and I'm not sold on the other Dodgers starters putting up a fight. If the Dodgers lose the Game 1 Kershaw start then I think you can pretty much pack it in and call it over right there. I wouldn't be surprised though, if the Dodgers go back to LA with a 2-0 lead. You got Kershaw in game 1 and then you get Price in game 2 and even with his solid ALCS I don't think you'd find many Red Sox fans comfortable with the idea of playoff David Price saving them from a 2-0 hole. Here's what I'm thinking Game 1 Dodgers Game 2 Red Sox Game 3 Red Sox Game 4 Red Sox Game 5 Dodgers Game 6 Red Sox

Unocal
This is going to be an aesthetically pleasing WS between the uniforms, ballparks, and the rarity of this matchup. I'm really intrigued to see this WS play out.

WJMorris3
I can't cheer for the Dodgers. Not when they cross picket lines.
FinsUp1214
Really cool that Roberts got big applause from the Boston crowd. Not that I didn’t expect them to, it’s just kinda neat to see Roberts come full circle right back to Fenway after his ‘04 heroics. That had to be cool for him. Also, forgive me if it was mentioned already, but to my knowledge this is the first World Series in which both managers are minorities. Very, very awesome! Brass
Dave Roberts could go to centerfield and take a :censored: on a picture of Ted Williams and I will still applaud the man. He's a legend. Quillz
As a Dodgers fan, I've already accepted the Red Sox will win. Just a question of how many games it will take. What I am hoping for, though, is the Red Sox have to work for each win. Make it a tough, one- or two-run win, and I'll be happy with that. Well played series are fine with me, no matter who wins. FiddySicks
Ok, so if the Giants can’t be there, I’m TOTALLY fine with former Giants ruining the World Series for the Dodgers. masterchaoss
Yeah I'm still pretty sure that the Dodgers are gonna win this series. They beat them selves more than anything else, mostly with uncharacteristically bad defense and pitching Alex Wood and not sticking with Baez for a reason I'm still trying to figure out. This Boston team hasent done anything that really impressed me. Kershaw is GOD! Kershaw is LIFE! Kershaw is ALL!

FiddySicks
Dodgers are putting up one helluva fight already, but they already look really overmatched IMO. I’m seeing this as a 4 or 5 game series, tops. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) Nah, they would have had three innings to come back from a one run deficit had Roberts not decided to pull hot pitcher Baez for struggling pitcher Wood because ANALYTICS! That and first time for 95% of the team in that park with its wackiness and weather.
Unocal
A 3 run HR that barely cleared the wall to cap off an inning that started with a bizarre bounce and a weird double. This Red Sox team has caught EVERY break humanly possible.
