Meh. No red jersey, Miami on all jerseys but the black, only one cap option, and the minimal chest logo on the blue jersey are all :censored:ty. Hands down their worst ever look, and that’s saying a lot considering how much of a downgrade their last set was.

It’s interesting to me that they went out of their way to design a new modified block font and aren’t using it for the names on the back. That looks like plain block. Compare that to this:

I thought FOR SURE that they'd use that script for the names on the back.  Guess I was wrong.

I like the blue alternate, though it doesn't have the primary logo on the sleeve like the rest of them do.

The others look plain to me.  Maybe the colors don't come across right in pictures.  They need a number on the front or something.  The "Miami" looks too big

Oh dear. The area under the marlin’s chin is black on the blue jersey. Why??

No front numbers, needs just a touch more piping, too much black, by the way I thought the BFBS era was over about 6 or 7 years ago? had potential but missed the mark...Did i say need a blue hat ? that's the best color in this pallet that they are using , and its under utilized in my opinion,🤔  disappointing.. overall grade for me D+

One positive I will give them is that these vaguely feel much closer to the Marlins I grew up watching. I would have liked to have seen more of an emphasis on the light blue, but whether we like it or not, the Marlins have largely worn black throughout their existence. So for me, this black with blue and sparingly used touches of salmon red works. Much more so than the rainbow pallet with blue, black, orange, and yellow with bright green outfield walls. Kinda like how the Atlanta Hawks aren’t quite the same with the familiar black, red, and yellow I grew up watching, but instead with dark gray, red, and volt. Not quite the same, but a heck of a lot closer than when they were red and blue. So in that regard, I call that a win. The uniforms aren’t bad, either. A bit boring but fine overall.

I see what you're saying , but it reminds me a lot of the Jaguars update, you go to the opposite end of the spectrum to play it safe , don't get me wrong I love simplicity, but when you leave out key elements it becomes a little amateurish, and you run the risk of indifference, when really don't you want people to love the new branding ? notice how you said fine overall? doesn't sound like you want to run out and buy any items tomorrow ....  just a perspective

Eh, maybe it’ll grow on me, but I’m not keen on it. They’re simply too black-heavy on each uniform to really work. A blue bill on the caps or an blue/coral red-crowned cap would work wonders here. I second the opinion that the cap logo could work with a few tweaks.

While the scripts are nice and all, keeping “Miami” at home just looks kinda desperate. I don’t mind the fish’s (which could use minor adjustments, like an eye or a different fin patch) absence on the scripts.

The custom font is decent, as it’s much-needed upgrade over the old one.

Overall, it’s a lateral move. It could have been amazing, but it’s another “high-potential, low yield” set. Just like Major League Baseball in Florida.
