There's a way to get what you want, but telling the team that has been there you'd like his older stepbrother to visit or he needs to find a new place to live is pretty crap. I understand that the intent is to make up for losing the Ohio Machine, but the Crew has been doing most of the maintenance after the city built the complex. I don't know what they think is going to happen if the Crew take their toys and leave. Granted that's exactly what will happen when the new stadium opens. Anything for additional revenue. The thought of a minicamp weekend there would be a boom for them with charging for just parking. While the Crew are essentially month to month in terms of leasing the practice facility, their last contract only had them paying around $2,300/month. Losing one source is understandable, but demanding that your other tenant bring in someone else to fill that gap or start looking for a new practice facility instead of going to the Browns themselves and offering the facilities for a mini-camp is pretty petulant. There's asking for certainty and there's "GTFO" which is what it looks like to everyone in the area. The fact that the person who seems to be trying to push an immediate decision is the one who lost out big when the Machine were folded and a concert festival he wanted there died off makes locals even angrier at the guy.
