D.C United has ended their partnership with FloFC and will have a new broadcast partner for the 2020 season. This weekend's season finale against Cincy will be live streamed on the team's website.

Good, hopefully Cincinnati will do the same. This also cancels what I like to call the Flo Derby as they were the only two MLS teams using Flo. The first meeting of the teams was nationally televised and was not streamed by Flo for either team. This meeting will only be streamed on Flo by Cincinnati

Sorry for the triple post

Per The Athletic New England Revolution will field a 2 team in League One next year to play at Gillette Stadium, with announcement expected next week.

Also just to avoid a fourth post USL Championships Fresno FC has a 50-50 shot at returning next season. Apparently the USL is cracking down on teams using baseball parks as homes with the exception of it being used temporarily to find a permanent soccer stadium solution or if the baseball team owns them (as is the case with Reno). Fresno has seperate ownership from the PCL Grizzlies and no plan in place for a future soccer stadium

Does New Mexico United have a permanent stadium solution?  It seems to me that they may end up in the same situation as Fresno if they don't have any plans.

So Herb Simon owns the Reno Aces baseball team to go along with the Indiana Pacers, Indiana Fever and Reno 1868 FC?

This was New Mexicos first season, and Fresnos second. From what ive heard teams are given 2-3 years to have stadium plans announced. Fresno apparently has had no luck with the local government. The city of Fresno doesnt want to pay a dime for a new stadium but the owners said they would pay for it.The ownership has also run into issues finding a suitable spot to build a stadium. As for New Mexico Im not sure what their stadium situation is as of now but Ive heard rumblings of a soccer stadium being built in Albuquerque even before the United came into existance.

Edit to show teams playing in ballparks

Teams playing in ballparks include:

Louisville- moving to new soccer stadium next season

Memphis- has same ownership as the PCL Redbirds

Nashville- joining MLS and moving to Nissan Stadium next season

El Paso- has same ownership as the PCL Chihuahuas, and operators of the stadium

Fresno- has different ownership from the PCL Grizzlies, struggling to find more permanent stadium solution

Las Vegas- although baseball is no longer played, plans are in place to convert the stadium to a soccer specific stadium (kind of like what Tampa Bay did to Al    Lang)

New Mexico- different owners from PCL Isotopes, future stadium situation not known, however Leauge Two club Albuquerque Sol (different ownership) was persueing a new stadium back in 2016 for possible USL club for 2018, no word on how that is going

Reno- has same ownership as PCL Aces

Tacoma- Owned by the Sounders but using Cheney Stadium until a new soccer stadium is built next door with expected opening in 2021

Tulsa- was just sold to new owners from the TL Drillers in August, future plans for soccer stadium not known.

Lansing- same owners as MWL Lugnuts

Omaha- joining next season, has the same owner as the PCL Storm Chasers.

So it appears Fresno, New Mexico and Tulsa are the only ones not owned by the baseball teams and should be the only ones affected by the USLs rule on playing in ballparks

And you thought regular Revs crowds were swallowed up in the cavernousness of Gillette Stadium.

Revs seem to be doubling down on young player development, so I guess I can see the desire to have a reserve-type team in-house. Team Arena probably wants that integration, and they've got the new training facility on Foxboro grounds opening up next year, and I dunno, I guess a couple hundred extra people eating at those terrible Patriot Place restaurants is nice. Still think an affiliate minor-league team in a smaller New England city would be great, ah well.

Does anyone have anything positive to say about FloFC? Are there any other teams renegotiating TV contracts next year?

Vela has the record! He scored two amazing goals in the first half and LAFC is 45 minutes away from clinching the all-time points record.

I know the Cup is the ultimate goal, but this has been an incredible, special season.

So FC Cincinnatis inaugural MLS season was a bust but but it was still fun to watch, especially late in the season when Ron Jans took over as coach. Looking ahead to great things in the seasons to come.

Also how in the hell does DC draw against the worst team in the league in FCC playing with a 2 man advantage for 50 plus minutes. It cost them a home game in the playoffs. (Im not complaining, the way this season has been for FCC a draw is a win in my book. A huge win playing two men down.)

Pretty sure Rooney's already planning training sessions at Derby County and not focused on the playoffs. The rest of the team seems to be negotiating tee times as well.

Yeah, for all the hash made of going to a single-game-elimination tournament, it's hard to foresee an upset in the first round. Which I guess would make it more of an upset.

I suppose Galaxy could pull it off, especially with another shot at LAFC in waiting. But beyond that... just can't see it for Portland or Dallas, NYRB and DCU skidded into the playoffs, and the Revs are just happy to be here.
