Also, the font used on the memorial uniform is way better than the one used on the regular uniforms. I mean those are two fonts that are straight out of 2000, I'm not sure I can pick a winner there. I don't know what people are seeing in the other updates; seems lateral at best. Have they lightened the orange that's used in the trim? The overall package seems brighter and more in-your-face than it had ever been before. The new alternate is a massive downgrade both from the navy statement and the original OKC sunset jersey; I miss the navy blue and the white is so unnecessary. There are still too many outlines everywhere you look. This team's look was dated as hell from the minute it debuted and I don't think these updates address any of that. FiddySicks
I think it would be more tasteful for the Thunder to try and include something like a depiction of one of the chairs from the memorial onto all of their uniform sets and keep that there permanently. Maybe make it a waistband logo or something? Either way, I'm glad it's being memorialized in some way. Even if it may be a bit misguided. Dynasty
It would be pretty disgusting if they really are using those memorial uniforms as a cash grab. Like others have said, hopefully the people affected by that event get something out of this.
IceCap
I'm ok with the OKC bombing jersey if the proceeds of its sale go to the victims' families, but come on. We all know that won't happen. There's a picture for reference. Yeah, it might just be for the firefighters. But, generally speaking, firefighters and 9/11 are quite synonymous, especially for many of us outside of NYC. For those who don't know, the chairs represent each victim. I'm OKC born and bred and felt the blast at the beginning of my second period English class in 7th grade. My classmate's father died in the blast. I was there when she was told which building blew up. Will never forget that. I know OKC isn't a destination for most of you, but if you all ever happen to get here, you should go through the Memorial museum and the memorial itself. They did an excellent job with it. Agree that it's a special place that Oklahomans hold dear. I grew up in the Stillwater area, and knew people who claimed they felt the blast in their home -- some 60 miles away. SFGiants58
So, what's the over/under that somebody in Elohim City will buy the "memorial" jersey for all the wrong reasons? Also guys, if you have the time/taste (as it can get raunchy), Last Podcast on the Left did an excellent series on the tragedy. You'll learn all about the various (false) conspiracies surrounding the event, the multiple people involved in the planning, and the buildup of the "Patriot Movement" and its conflict with the FBI/ATF. CLEstones
No disrespect, but the City Edition uniform is a huge downgrade. They need to do a white and orange version, and make those the primary uniforms. Those uniforms are a work of art.

It was set on a concentric arc to the “Oklahoma” lettering. It’s tough to tell because the word is so short, but you can definitely see the letters are rotated at different angles relative to one another.
