If Robert Kraft (or anyone involved) knew that those women were trafficked into the country for prostitution and still went ahead and used their forced services, then yes, I would classify such a person as a sexual predator.

We'll, that's not what he was charged with. The police have said that the sex trafficking sting and the solicitation arrests are two separate things.

I didn't say Robert Kraft was involved with the trafficking of women, I'm saying he used the services of women forced into prostitution. If he knew that the women he was paying were forced into that trade, then he's equivalent to a rapist IMO. If he was using the services of a woman that willingly sells her body for money, I wouldn't care at all.

Makes the Cowboys worse and MNF better. Nice.

I really doubt him or hardly any of the people charged knew they were being sex trafficked. From what I’ve read a lot of them are members of the same golf club, likely someone went got a happy ending told his buddies about the place because it can be a fantasy to some. And then it just went from there.

I'm curious to hear how all these solid gold toilet types explain why so many of them ended up at random strip mall massage parlors next to Little Caesars or whatever. I know billionaires are people, too, but it seems like a stretch.

However, Kraft and the others went to the location not because those women wouldn't talk like an escort had the possibility to and blackmail them, they went there because those women COULDN'T talk.  Those women were completely powerless and every one of those men knew that.

And you know they knew this how exactly?

This entire investigation began with complaints regarding potential health code violations. Health Inspectors checked it out, they said the whole operation looked sketchy and turned it over to the Sheriff's Department.

Granted, there are men/women across America who were properly zoned and lived where they do business. In this case, women were basically sleeping aside their rice cooker.  Depending on the locale and zoning ordinances, using your place of business as a residence for your employees is not always legal.

Some folks also get their leg up in life by cramming 12 people into a one-bedroom apartment, which is also often illegal.

Kraft and former Citigroup CEO John Havens did not go there due to its location, they went there because of its silence. Not because it was "cheap" to them, but because of the fact they were still in control and they believed they were still in control of the situation and had the power over those women.

Once again how do you know they knew this, everything you said could have been completely out of view of customers and most likely was just to try and prevent what ended up happening to them.

I think he's coming back solely because of how terrible he was in the MNF booth. I think he has a future as a coach in the NFL, not as an announcer.

There's something that needs to be remembered when it comes to the idea of "[Player X] may be a future coach" or related stuff:

Coaches tend to work more hours each week than players. Coaches, especially once you go down past the ranks of O and D-Coordinator, tend to make peanuts (sure, an ex-player probably doesn't need the money but broadcast jobs, for contrast, tend to pay much better). And, as a coach, whether it be a positional coach or one of the more glamor positions, you have to deal with petulant :censored:s everyday. Not to mention that, in many cases, a player retires because they wish to spend more time with their family. Well, if you're spending 80 hours a week at the facilities and traveling with the team when they go away from home, guess what you're not doing? No, don't need to spell it out

Point being, unless you're talking coordinator level or above, and I mean right out of the gates as a coach, then either you're doing it because it's truly a labor of love or because you don't have any other kind of life worth living. Frankly, the way I hear these stories about what goes into football coaching, I can't help but think that I would be burned the :censored: out in pretty much no-time flat. Doesn't sound like fun at all. spacer.png

The Redskins potentially trading for Cardinals QB Josh Rosen is a really good move in my mind.

Listen, I hate to be "that guy," but there's no way the Cards are trading Rosen.  He was a top tier prospect last year, one season of bad coaching and little support around him doesn't change that.  The idea that the Cardinals would give up on a potential suitor after one year because of some comment Kliff Kingsbury made a year ago is ludicrous imo.

Might sound ludicrous, but there’s been a lot of rumors coming out here that’s the case. Not only Klif, but also Bidwell and Kevin are high on Murray at the moment.

With Charlie Casserly saying teams were disappointed with how Murray interviewed is it possible they're just trying to get someone to cone take the #1 pick off their hands?

If the Redskins are doing it then it's probably the worst move.
