I would be just fine with this being in the rotation once or twice a season for the foreseeable future. This is the obvious black jersey design that Nebraska fans have wanted for years, and somehow Adidas has only now figured it out. **insert fire emojis** This is awesome. I would probably prefer the red N stay on the helmet but I really wouldn't change much here. Nearly a perfect blackshirt alternate. My NFL concept series (in progress) --ATL, CLE, NE, WAS done. The star Az flag concept looks better on the player uniforms than the fanatics fan cut. It looks more like a shelves end cap sort of design. They need a real retro tribute throwback. Nike and Adidas really flubbed up ASUs identity. It's always been this for me If you want a real Tillman tribute, add some color in there. ASU spokesman says these aren't Tillman tribute uniforms, contrary to an earlier report. Just "Sustainable" uniforms. https://www.azcentral.com/story/sports/college/asu/2019/08/19/asu-football-uniforms-new-adidas-2019-sustainable-uniform-unveiled/2054549001/ These ASU sets are nice on the players...but an addition of yellow would only help it. --------------------------------------- All of the jerseys look way better on the players than the replica jerseys. The replica jerseys look like dog adidas, in CFB, is seemingly still behind Nike and UA designs when it comes to alternates though. Smart is believing half of what you hear. Green27
Few interesting notes on the Ducks new uniforms: Interesting to see dark green (forest, olive, etc) make a comeback after not appearing on any football uniform since 2014. Football (and most other sports) had been pushing apple green heavily. This also marks the first time that Oregon does not appear to have a primarily black uniform since 1998. (It’s a good assumption a special one game black uniform will be worn at some point this year) The fact that the pants no longer have the large colored O means that they can open things up and mix and match much more. For example, last year the black pants had the Volt O, so they didn't wear them with yellow or apple green uniforms. The only mark on the 2019 pants is the Nike Swoosh which is small enough it shouldn't stop the combinations.

Black jerseys came in the mid-2000s. That’s correct. The jerseys and pants of the redesigned 1999 home set were the very dark, almost black shade of green, while the away set had the dark green on the numbers and NOB’s. Black didn’t come in until the diamond plate set. And as I said earlier, I think the reintroduction of the dark green on this new set (specifically this new, almost black shade of green) ties directly in to the 20th anniversary of the athletic department rebrand and the debut of the ‘O’ logo with the ‘99 set. 13 minutes ago, Green27 said: The fact that the pants no longer have the large colored O means that they can open things up and mix and match much more. This is the part that makes me most excited about this new set, as I think there’s great potential for mixing and matching. Off the top of my head I’d say that the yellow helmets and pants could easily be mixed and matched with every non-yellow jersey. If they were to mix and match the yellow helmets/pants with either white jersey I’d say the combo would have to be yellow/white/yellow to really look cohesive, but that’s not a problem. The apple green helmets and pants will look great with the white/apple green jerseys, and we already know how sharp the dark green helmets and pants look with the alternate white/dark green jerseys. I also think the dark green helmets and/or pants could look really good with the yellow jerseys if there’s no black helmet or pant options. I’m gonna try to mock up some of these combos and probably post them here in the next few days.

CaliforniaGlowin
New LIU uniforms. I wish the number font matched the logo font, but whatever. Still love the colors. And get the shark on the helmet! Last updated 2/
MattMill
LIU thinks their slick. Southern University has something to say about that I'm sure. ^older photo from a different year. Gotta say, those numbers hurt my head. Legibility issues for sure. Yellow numbers on anything but Navy, black,'or.dark green/red is dreadful. LIU does have nice helmets. That's one contrast vs Southern. I don't like that the white NEC logo is also white on the white jersey. It's the little things. I love the LIU basic helmet logo. Hate everything else. This is what you don't want to do if you're the NFL chargers lol.
colinturner95
I love this time of the year. https://www.uniswag.com/blog/indianas-bicentennial-uniforms Indiana released Bicentennial Uniforms. with some tweaks, I'd love to see this as a regular home/away look. All of these adidas jerseys would look so much better if they decided to not go monochrome with their design ideas. Arizona State should have used their regular numbers instead of those Soviet-style numbers. Mississippi State would look better with maroon instead of black and Indiana is the best looking of the bunch because it's simple and matches their current identity. upperV03
Thanks to the Ducks’ Assistant AD of Marketing & Sales, we now have a glimpse of the apple green/white/apple green combo with the new set: This is another really solid combo, and hopefully another sign that they’re planning to mix and match a lot more this year as opposed to last season. Decent. I feel they need that yellow or orange as minimal accents to really cement that look. Otherwise the helmet looks bare from a distance. And your pants are bare as well. How this sort of uniform gets to be talked about so much is a bit crazy. It looks like a blank template in Madden's create a team Give me a yellow O on the helmet, a yellow swoosh/pac12 patch, yellow accents on the gloves, and yellow accents on the shoes and you have a complete look. A solo white and green is almost too basic. Nike doesn't know how to stay in the middle. I still contend the practice set is better than the real deal. Here's some yellow on the gloves and shoes from a few years back. Something's missing from the bright green set.
CaliforniaGlowin
Looking at LIU's pictures close up and at the soccer teams, I guess the numbers do match the logo. I thought the numbers were rounded at first. Last updated 2/
