Are they stitched/screened onto the pants? They kinda look embossed into the pad itself. They're called treDCALS and are basically decals on the pads. Few other teams have been wearing them for a while. Penn State comes to mind "I believe in Auburn and love it!"

djam2410
Georgia Tech's gold is about as good as it gets, and as far as the brighter "yellow gold", I think Cal has the best along with Pitt and their throwbacks. The Cal colors are brighter while the Pitt yellow gold is a bit softer, which i think actually looks better ( the pictures may not be good but that's three different variations of yellow gold, as small as they may be; getting that perfect balance of pop and color may be tough ) Cal Bears | Miami Dolphins | Cleveland Cavaliers |@dcjames5

RayFinkle
I actually like the Sun Bowl. If its the one I am thinking of.......mountains around the stadium, kinda desert-ish, sunny but it can be cold. Cool bowl game. Even cooler now that Tony the Tiger is hosting!! WSU151
Not sure why adidas sleeve stripes don't go from seam to seam. The three inch lines look like they're just floating on the sleeves. The old-school UMass wordmark is pretty awesome on the white helmet. 58 minutes ago, aild87 said: Dang that second wordmark could use a lot of touching up. MattMill
Is that 150 mandatory on the right upper chest? Some teams have an open spot on their left mid chest. As a stickler for balance, this year will be rough. EASTERN looks rough in that preview from the link above. Heres Hawaii with no 150 Edit: just looked through more of the photos. FCS ILLINOIS state has the 150 on their left, as well as Iowa. So it can be done. Maybe more teams will find a good balance but most of what I’ve seen is lazy placement. It it looks like some teams even have a smaller 150 to balance our their looks more. LSU and Nebraska come to mind. Yeah. I’m calling it. Most of these schools for lazy or got these patches late and just threw them on haphazardly.

I thought the numbers were rounded at first. Well, looking at more photos of the football team on instagram, I was wrong. The football's numbers are the standard UA rounded numbers (like CCU) but the soccer team's numbers have squared edges. Weak. Because the stock catalog jerseys and pants for the Primeknit styles are shipped in blank and decorated in the U.S., there’s no way to apply seam-to-seam graphics on those. The only way to achieve seam-to-seam decoration is to apply the graphics before the panels are cut and sewn together, which becomes a completely custom uniform like the ones you see on Washington, Miami, or Texas A&M. There's no way to make the decoration bigger than that? Did the good idea fairy at adidas really think "We need sleeve decorations that will be incredibly short and awkward, so instead of stripes that are 10 or 11 inches wide we will go with 5.5 inches!!"? And the weird thing is everyone at adidas apparently said "I love it! I love the terrible stripes and so will the kids and the fans!" C'mon. The short 5.5 inch stripes are pretty much the Spirit Airlines of football jersey design. High schools have better stock jerseys with full sleeve stripes. Obviously it’s not ideal, no one ever said, “I love the terrible stripes,” and no one gets satisfaction from having to compromise the look of a product when they know how great it can look when time and money are no object. The simple fact is decorating a pre-constructed garment has limitations. That’s just reality. Even on a t-shirt, you typically can’t post-embellish larger that that on a sleeve unless you’re doing every one completely by hand with custom-made equipment, and a jersey is much more difficult to post-embellish than a t-shirt. I just don't get why 5.5 inches is the limit. Seems arbitrary and artificially limited. Nike, adidas, and UA can do wider stripes and sleeve logos screen printed (post-construction) on replica jerseys. Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.
