NFL Playoffs: Super Bowl LIII

Recommended Posts

So the plan unfortunately for tonight is to have the roof open for pregame activities then closed for the game. I’m fairly disappointed because I love when the game is played open air, even if the open air part looks more like “megatrons butt hole” than it does anything else.

What everyone else is expecting.

which is what?  Again, THEY LOST LAST YEAR.  QUIT IT WITH THIS "WOE IS US, THE PATRIOTS ALWAYS WIN" CRAP.

AN OPEN LETTER TO THE LOS ANGELES FOOTBALL RAMS

On behalf of all CCSLC board members, casual sports fans, and NFL diehards around the world with no ties to Louisiana or New England:

Greetings.

I don't think it's a stretch to say that on this very day 17 years ago, many of us were rooting against you.  And who could blame us?  You guys were the high-flying, high-octane, well-oiled machine.  Kurt Warner.  Marshall Faulk.  Torry Holt.  Isaac Bruce.  The Greatest Show on Turf was looking for its second title in three years.

I remember being the old kid at my Super Bowl party rooting for the Rams that year. Even back then, I was so sick of hearing everybody talk about how the Patriots were now "America's team" post 9-11 and were supposed to beat the Rams because "PATRIOTISM!!!!".

CJ Anderson being cut by the Panthers and Raiders earlier in the season is mentioned eight times during the Super Bowl broadcast.

If you think a clear helmet to helmet on a defenseless receiver as questionable I don’t know what to tell you.

If you think that’s a clear helmet to helmet... my goodness.

He hit him with his chest more than anything. Coleman had his head and chest up, not his fault the guy he tackled is shorter than he is.

Cowboys - Lakers - LAFC - USMNT - LA Rams - LA Kings - NUFC

Honestly, if those types of calls are going to be made, the Rams should just send someone after Brady after the whistle and take his head off. If you’re going to get called for unsportsmanlike conduct on every play, they might as well make it count.

And it’s still as true now as it’s always been.

And im not even really advocating for that, either. What I’d really like to see is a game where we don’t have these types of issues. But the game is so broken at this point, :censored: it, they might as well just shank Brady at this point.

“The guy who shanked Brady is innocent! Charges being filed? Coordinated effort by the NFL to make sure Patriots win!!”
