Well, now that it's official, congrats on #6, Patriots. Wanted my Rams to win, but like I said, they've got a good future ahead of them. And being able to watch them was plenty good for me. They're back home and a good team. A win was just a cherry on top.

How long until the current CBA expires? We could really use a season-long lockout at this point.

I don't know which is the lesser of two evils; the Patriots lording over everyone with 6 Lombardis, or the fact Pittsburgh is not the only one with six...

At least now Steelers fans can shut it with the "6burgh" stuff since they're no longer officially the "best" franchise of all time.

I didn’t think it was a bad game 🤷‍♂️

Not a shootout like last year or a miracle comeback like the year before, but there’s nothing wrong with a good defensive game. Not even close to the most exciting game, but far from the most boring

Look, I get it - it’s super annoying to hear people constantly complain and whine about one team always winning and one team always having things work out for them, when a lot of it is overblown. This organization is freaking good. You don’t win 6 SBs by accident, or by the refs conspiring for you, or by cheating. As I said before, we have run out of reasons to explain away this dynasty. They are that good.

But at at the same time, it’s also really annoying to see one team constantly winning, one team constantly experiencing success, one team constantly triumphing. Especially in a league that takes pride in its “parity.”

Im sorry if complaining about the Patriots makes me a whiner, sore loser, or annoys you. But I’m tired of seeing such an unlikable franchise win constantly. Sorry.

Looking at it now, last year appears to have been a road bump, rather than the end of the road. Goliath continues on strong, apparently. 🤬

Goliath can't beat the NFC East.  0-3.

Why?  What would be accomplished that could possibly change any of the things you complain about?  Even if it did, you'd just find 20 more things to complain about.

I do have to say I enjoyed a defensive struggle. Yes I will remember this game forever now as “boring” because of the outcome (not ashamed to admit it), but it was kinda fun to see two teams known for their offenses win with defense.

I agree. It really wasn't a bad game at all. Both defenses were incredible. Hell, even in the fourth. I said as early as halftime the game would be decided by whoever got lucky with the first touchdown. I hate being right about these things. And really, that's exactly what happened. The Patriots got the breaks when they needed them. it went the other way, we'd be talking about Super Bowl MVP Jared Goff right now (or whoever).

It's not the kind of game I like to watch, but some of the more exciting Super Bowls actually have been defensive games.

Place your bets; which team from the NFC gets the privilege of being teabagged by Brady and Belichick next year?

You're an idiot.  Prior to tonight, they lost 3 of their last 5.

I just want a season where the AFC is finally, truly, a competitive conference. It's turned into the NBA West, where you know none of the games matter because the Warriors will move on. This is why I only watch NFC playoff games, because they actually seem to be balanced and have different champs every season.

Yeah idc if I would’ve lost my job. I totally would’ve saved everyone the nightmare of the patriots winning again and rigged the game if I was a ref. It’s only what Brady deserves.

Yeah I hear ya.

Yeah a lockout would be great right about now.

But still, plenty of good reasons to give the AAF a chance.
