Yeah, I love those roads.

While we're on the subject of road grays being better than the home uniforms, I've long thought that this was the best jersey the Brewers have ever worn.  The gray compliments blue and gold so well, and the script is elegant.

I really like them! Granted, inverting the lettering colors and wearing the red-billed hat would be best, but this is good by me. The uncanny valley scripts were/are terrible, especially when the originals had so much potential.

Also, that '94-'10 "Cleveland" script was a special kind of awful.

Aside from the double outline, what the heck is up with the flat edge on the lower "C," the iffy "v," and the overall bulbousness of the design? The block wordmark is far superior, if only because it doesn't have the "machined" look. Heck, just because a script is "machined" doesn't mean it can't look good (shameless self-plug).

I'm not as keen on the "v" in "Cleveland" anymore, but I think it's a solid demonstration of balancing the "rough" and "uncanny" styles.

I actually prefer that cursive Cleveland script over the block type uniforms they have now. It has more personality.

As a Padres fan, I love it. IMO, the brown needs to be dark or else it looks too much like real poop. I never liked the brown they use on the Friday jerseys...to light and had a greenish tint. This looks darker and more red which I think will hold up over time better. Plus once on the field, it will clearly register as brown.

I was looking at that earlier, I knew something was off but couldnt nail it

Same. I knew something had changed but didn’t know what. That’s about as minimal of a change to the SD as they could have made.

Yeah, I'm not so sure how I feel about either of those changes. Bummed there wont be the dual colored SD, either.
