Found this at a new location being build nearby...but no further indication that this is really happening. Looks better in my opinion!

This kind of feels like that Best Buy rebrand that was more of a trial or specialty store.

Really wish they kept the same font. Lowercase is beyond overused today.

All lowercase is better than one lowercase letter like it was before: ELEVEn

I didn't mind the lowercase n oddity in the original logo. I think it reads better from a distance as an "N" than an uppercase would.

 

Anyway, is the font in the old logo the same as the 1970-80s LA Rams wordmark? I just noticed it.

Upon further review, maybe not, but I guess it's close.

... which was clearly superior to their existing look at the time or their current retooled version.
