It has a lot of things that work well in today’s aesthetic. The dark navy contrasted by the brighter orange works well. It might not age well, (especially the orange jersey) but the look mostly works for now. "And those who know Your Name put their trust in You, for You, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You." Eastport76
Quote NASHVILLE PREDATORS 2019 THIRD JERSEY: Expected. The Predators will be back in the third jersey fray for 2019-20! They haven’t used one since redesigning their logo and uniforms in 2011. An obvious design choice would be navy blue, but as with the Panthers, I hope they do something a bit more interesting. Predators would get a brand new third jersey this season.I think their third is navy, possible.

I think they sacrificed a nice look in order to force a new identity around the gold/yellow. Its garish to me and the predominantly white logo is lost against it. The yellow is completely unique, and it sets Nashville apart from the Sabres & Blues. Plus, the fact that the rebrand happened to coincide with the team ditching the "expansion" label & becoming a model franchise means the yellow isn't going anywhere. Morgan33
The yellow looks great but they really need to come up with a bolder striping configuration.
daniel75
I don’t mind yellow as a secondary color, but as a primary color yuck.
VancouverFan69
Yellow looks amazing as a primary colour. However, I much prefer yellow to be used as a light colour. The NHL should, at least, have teams wear white & yellow at home in the second half of the season.

I strongly disagree. I think the problem was that they leaned too heavily into the gold. their look with navy helmets and their '11-'17 home was significantly better than what they have now. They can keep the yellow/gold primary, they just need to be using more navy than they are to help tone the look down a little. More importantly, the fans love it. I think 2015 is just about the best the team has ever looked. Nashville's gold helmets are a prime example that catering to your fanbase is sometimes a move that's questionable, from an outside perspective. If they had just punched up the previous look, fixed the collar "fangs," and thrown the patch on both shoulders, It would look better than what they have now. Right now it feels like a hockey inspired pajama top. FiddySicks
Not only should the Perds keep the yellow jersey as the primary, they should bump the yellow helmets up to being the primary lids, too. That is such a unique look in the NHL, and I think it looks great. A navy alt (paired with a navy helmet) would be very nice, though. For the Winter Classic I'm thinking they'll go with a new yellow jersey (maybe we'll see a colour v. colour matchup). I could see them paying homage to the old Nashville Dixie Flyers look: They could also roll out a navy alternate to mix in during the season, or they could bring out the Winter Classic look for a few other games & save the navy jersey for next season. Ark
Yeah, that is the one time ever a team downgraded by switching from a Reebok Edge template to a traditional design. That Reebok Edge gave the uniform a perfect amount of navy.
