LMU
I've noticed that all the forum's graphics are currently showing the notorious red X (site banners, smilies, etc.). Is there a problem with the site, or is this just my anti-virus program acting goofy? (if this belongs someplace else, be my guest and move it). Me too, but it could be linking to a pic file from a site that doesn't allow it.Angelfire is one that doesn't for instance.
LMU
yeah, that could be if the site banner, buttons, and emoticons are linked to a site like that. But, everything user posted is still working, so I have no idea what the problem is.
eddie010
Red X's happen to me once and a while, but all I do is Right Click on the X and hit 'Show Picture'. That does the trick most of the time.
CJR
I know what it is and I'm working on it. I just can't remember the code I need right now. I thought it was fixed yesterday.
LMU
I did figure out that it's my anti-virus program that's doing it, so the images are probably not formatted correctly or something.
CJR
Actually, it's that the measures we have in place to prevent remote linking are a little too agressive. Still working on it, I know what I need to do but I can't remember how to do it.EDIT: Should be fixed now.
Joshawaggie
actually, if you are talking about the pics in your sig, I think that site doesnt do remote linking on the bigger flags, only the smaller ones. Or I could be completely wrong.

Actually, yours is because Freewebs doesn't allow remote image linking.
