And announcing that three teams are being shut down with one scheduled to come back in 2021. I know today's April 1st but that's not a joke any league should ever pull. So back to 6 teams vs the PLL that also has 6 teams.

Isn't Mitchel Field, home of the Lizards, built for lacrosse? Specifically, Hofstra lacrosse. The lacrosse lines are painted into the turf, as the Cosmos unfortunately found when they were playing their matches there.

To the best of my knowledge, Mitchel Field was built as a track-and-field facility, with a multi-purpose field-sport surface within the oval.

By the same token, though the Ohio Machine was the first - and, as it turned out, only - pro sports tenant to regularly play matches at Fortress Obetz, the Ohio Aviators of PRO Rugby were lined-up as potential tenants when the facility was in the planning and construction stages.
