I wonder how San Jose fans stay fans after everything the Sharks have done to basically throw the fans under the bus..

We’re waiting for our time, and when the time comes, we’ll be:

I had to bring it back, even if it’s the CCSLC equivalent of “Beam me up, Scottie!” @BigMac12 never said that exact line.

The Sharksiest thing they could do here would be to win games 5 and 6 and then get stomped on home ice in Game 7. So you can go ahead and etch that in stone.

That's about accurate.

The Lightning one is now out, and this is easily his best Congrats video yet.

No. I’m to the point where if they ever win a cup (they won’t), I’ll legitimately wonder who the hell even still cares? At most, I’ll feel absolutely nothing. Watching this team trip over their own schlongs for as many years as I did actually ruined the entire sport for me.

Yeah, somehow I don't believe that. Something about the wide net of Northern California sports fandom leads me to believe that Bay Area folks are 1.) extremely forgiving, 2.) just as into their personal suffering as Boston fans and 3.) somehow concurrently like every pro team not in LA or points south.

The Sharks taught me that I think I just never really liked hockey to begin with.

It's like constantly peeling the protective plastic layer off a shiny new device but at the last second, it rips. And just when you think you've gotten it again, you scratch whatever it was protecting so it's forever marked. And that one little piece remains. Every couple years you think, "This is it. This is the the year the whole thing will come off in once piece." But it never does.

It's like that. Go Sharks.

Makes perfect sense.

They look east, see the Cleveland Browns, and think “it could be worse.”

True... at least the Sharks are playoff contenders year in and year out. They just keep pulling the rug out Charlie Brown style every year.

Exactly. That's what frustrates Sharks fans the most. They've only missed the playoffs 6 times in their 28 seasons. You'd think they would've won something.

I’d much rather they were just trash than do what they do. At least they would be easier to ignore that way.

So, that means 22 postseason trips for them... Of those trips, here's how it breaks down (not including this season since that series is still going on):

Did Not Qualify - 6

Out in the 1st Round - 7

Out in the 2nd Round - 9

Out in the Conference Finals - 3

Stanley Cup Finals - 1 (Lost)

Of these playoff trips, 16 of them end in the first two rounds... they are the hockey equivalent to Gonzaga basketball.

There is something to be said when an organization has three consecutive picks in an absolutely loaded draft and only one of them is suited up for an important playoff game.

Sweeney and Neely need to go.

— David Backes was signed for $6 million for 6 years as a 30 year old THIRD LINE CENTER when we desperately needed defense

— Zboril and Senyshyn as you mentioned.

— Frank Vatrano became a 40 point scorer, Colin Miller is a solid defenseman for Vegas, Dougie Hamilton has been solid in Carolina, Reilly Smith has regularly scored 50+ after his Boston career ended.

— Charlie Coyle has been fine, but not worth being a rental for another talented young player with tons of potential. Johansson has been terrible, the Bruins traded a first for the miserable Rick Nash experiment.

The boys club needs to be completely purged.

I've got a dribbble, check it out if you like my stuff; alternatively, if you hate my stuff, send it to your enemies to punish their insolence!
