I really don’t think IT was their main priority of the trade. Dude was out with injury until February. They wanted that draft pick, probably hoping to flip it for another player at the deadline. It was a projected top 3 pick before the season started.

I think they were definitely expecting him to be a huge asset to the team, instead of the broken down husk he ended up being.

I love Celtics fans who think trading for Anthony Davis will fix everything (remember last summer when the team was gonna be Warriors II once Kyrie and Hayward came back?). This season went up in flames because the roster was full of entitled divas who only cared about their numbers, and you want to throw Anthony Davis on top of that? Yeah good luck.

Feel bad for Durant but Rockets need to capitalize on this tonight and in game 6. Depending on what happens tonight it could be the last Warriors game in Oakland.

Rockets had some bad breaks at the end.  PJ Tucker out of bounds, Steph Curry getting his own rebound, Gordon not holding onto the loose ball (maybe a foul on Livingston?).  Yeesh, that was one they had to get, though.

The Rockets are being killed by their own offensive scheme. There are two places where they shoot: right next to the rim, and from 3. You just have to shut down one of those options, and they fall apart. When the Magic beat them, we worked hard to shut down the 3 and basically said “we bet you can’t be carried by shots 2 feet away from the paint”. We were right, they couldn’t.

It's a real bummer watching the Lakers turn into garbage.

Their new hot coaching candidate: Frank Vogel! Though given the Lakers' roster construction is stuck in 2012, maybe he'd be a good fit.

LeBron should demand a trade. Go to Houston, win a couple of titles, call it a career.
