New Orleans needs to either trade the pick or trade Davis. Simply adding Zion to the current team doesn't make them a contender in the near future. He and AD are not going to be compatible with one another on the court.

AD to Boston. They don't need the Lakers' pick anymore.

And? What does that have to do with them jumping from 5-10 to number 2 they’ve secured one of Barrett, Williamson or Morant. Most likely the latter. Conley will be a great mentor for Ja too, don’t see how their lack of coach and gm, matter right now, they should be celebrating

They're less interested in Ja and more into Boogie Ellis committing to Penny and Mike Miller with the Tigers and waiting for the one season of James Wiseman there.

Knicks could still conceivably trade that third pick for AD so the Pels could get Zion AND Barrett. It would obviously take more than that, but if AD absolutely insists he’s gonna leave, that may be the best they could get for him. That may not be a terrible option as it gives them an instant superstar (In theory. Chris Cote thinks Zion May end up being another Blake Griffin), and someone to control the ball who’s played with him before.

In other news, Warriors look flat and out of sorts so far tonight, but so do the Blazers.

The Bulls really dropped hard in this but Paxson wouldn't know what to do with a top-five pick if he had one anyway. I'm sure he'll find some sweaty guy named Todd.

Warriors win a third straight and fourth in five and then announce that everyone will be back. They've been trolling the fans & media the whole time. Lakers, Knicks and fans of all the other teams throw twitter rage fits as the internet explodes. No survivors.

The best option for the Pelicans is Tatum and Boston's pick for AD.  Tatum and Zion could be generationally good.

All this hype for Zion. He's talented? Yes, but I think we need to slow down the second coming praise for him.

Most people in the know call him the best prospect since LeBron. Anything can happen, but he seems as ready as LeBron was back in 03.

Good for New Orleans if they can swing it, would be awful for Boston though. Kyrie plus AD plus even a healthy Hayward (which I doubt we'll ever see again) would be a lot less than the sum of its parts.

Possibly, but I could see there being some hang ups on both sides with that one.

This time last year, Barrett was seen as the best prospect in this draft class.  The Canada trip in the preseason and the dunks got his hype train going.

I mean, there's an all-time talent offered for every draft, except for maybe the Bennett draft in 2013 (i.e., Davis, Towns, Kyrie, Simmons, Embiid, etc.).

But none of those guys has had the body Zion has. He's bigger than half of the league right now.

Let's say Portland is beginning the game with nerves and that's why half of their team is bricking everything. If they can get their :censored: together, they can totally win this. If their heads stay up their asses, nope.

Jerebko playing significant minutes is really good for the Blazers.

Warriors are playing at maybe 70% of what they’re capable of and the Blazers still don’t seem to have much of an answer so far. If this keeps up, they’re going to get their doors absolutely blown off once KD gets back.

This definitely isn’t last year’s WCF, that’s for sure.

It's a shame New Orleans is going to squander Zion.  I get why the NBA gave him to them, but it won't change anything.
