Under normal circumstances, no, you shouldn't, which I've said already. But a zero-tolerance policy is facile, as zero-tolerance policies often are.

Except zero tolerance for violently touching NBA players while they're playing is a policy that actually does make sense.

The guy didn't throw a punch or anything. Clock wasn't running. He didn't even push him very hard. I don't know why everyone is in such a state over the thought that someone would touch a player. I will pray for the safety of Kyle Lowry and hope this does not lead to a rash of copycat shoves.

It's 2019 in the NBA, the major sports league with by far the softest, most insecure players of all four major sports, the most hysterical media, and the most dramatic and hypersensitive fans. When are they not in a state over something stupid? The entire NBA operation runs on instagram memes at this point.

EDIT: Also the league with by far the highest ratio of people referring to posts/opinions they don't like as "takes".

This is a terrible take.

More like today's society in general.

Definitely nothing hysterical or dramatic about this post! For that matter, Deadspin's post about this incident was hardly a freakout. Nonetheless we'll weigh the opinions of people who don't really seem to like the NBA much anyway!

The title of that article: "The Old Knob Who Shoved Kyle Lowry Is Warriors Minority Owner Mark Stevens"

From the body of that article: "Stevens, who naturally is a venture capitalist douchebag, reached out and shoved Lowry with one hand."

Yeah, they seem pretty level-headed about it. Nothing but the facts!

Deadspin is literally nothing BUT freakouts and impotent rage. It's the only reason they exist.

It's sports owned by billionaires and played by millionaires. They can beat the crap out of each other all they want. If people need to go on some ritualistic crusade or vendetta about it then so be it. Who cares. SPORTS.

You were dead wrong about Deadspin not reee'ing up a storm like usual, so now you're shifting to their little bitchfit being justified. He is an old knob though, so what's the problem? Classic.

What's something you'd like to discuss?

WHO CARES. Kind of limiting, right?

Maybe others are right. You do need a break from the NBA & sports in general. The Warriors really seem get under your skin. Sports are meant to be entertaining. If you can't let things just roll off your back then I don't know what to do for you. Pleasant day sir.
