Missouri State had a profoundly disappointing season, so I'm just here to root on Indiana and the three MVC teams that made it into the field. Also hoping Arkansas loses quickly.

Disastrous season for Long Beach State (and Fullerton for that matter, and disappointing for UC Irvine to just miss out also), but I've still got Arizona State. Here's to the Sun Devils continuing to smash their way to Omaha. Fork 'em!

Since IIRC, the college baseball uniform thread got used for softball as well, can this topic be used to talk about the WCWS as well?

Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (CHL - 2018 Orr Cup Champions) Chicago Rivermen (UBA/WBL - 2014, 2015, 2017 Intercontinental Cup Champions)

King's Own Hexham FC (BIP - 2022 Saint's Cup Champions) Portland Explorers (EFL - Elite Bowl XIX Champions) Real San Diego (UPL) Red Bull Seattle (ULL - 2018, 2019, 2020 Gait Cup Champions) Vancouver Huskies (CL)

Couldn't see why not.

Good, because I couldn't be happier to see Arizona be back in OKC. It's been frustrating seeing them get knocked out (admittedly by very good teams) in the super regionals.

Don't worry, though. Washington will send them packing to the loser's bracket quick enough.

As for the Women's College World Series, the first round games as...

-Arizona vs. Washington

-Minnesota vs. UCLA

-Oklahoma State vs. Florida

-Alabama vs. Oklahoma

Texas, Long Beach and Fullerton all missing the tournament in the same year...crazy.

And my Lions in the tournament?  Even more crazy.

I don’t know, seeing them lose like they did last year was pretty great.

That's true. But I tend to prefer abject failure for the teams I dislike rather than gut wrenching losses in high stakes situations. My hope is not actually for the fanbase to feel pain at that point in time, but for that team's legacy to be diminished or beaten into obscurity. That's just how I feel, though. Reasonable minds can disagree.

Arkansas might have some trouble in their own regional. TCU & Cal are pretty decent.

I'm personally rooting for TCU, but I'd be happy with either beating Arkansas.

Disclaimer: I only hate Arkansas baseball. The rest of the school is fine to me.

Thanks for the clarification. Baseball post-season always throws me off with the rounds and scheduling.
