I feel 7 years older watching that game. How the hell do you waste a timeout the way Patricia did?

Ask the king of wasting time outs (and children)

That game was stupid. Kyler Murray looked awesome when he was doing Kyler Murray things, but he's so small! Not breaking news or anything, but he looks smaller than Doug Flutie did. Much faster though.

It's never going to work out for Matt Patricia, is it?

I feel like he was destined to fail in Detroit. He's trying to turn Matt Stafford into Tom Brady; which he's clearly not. And he's trying to turn the Detroit Lions into the New England Patriots; which they're clearly not.

When you try to copy a successful organization, more times than not you get a watered down imitation.

Except in LII

If Dallas goes to the Super Bowl and loses to New England, New England fans are going to rub it in like Paul Heyman did during that never ending Brock Lesnar Universal Title run when he would say every promo "he is the 1 in 21-1!" ad nauseum.

I'll take a road win over Carolina to open the season.

You manage to balance agitation with just enough salient points to keep things interesting. Kind of a low-rent DG_Now.

Remind me again why the Steelers continue to employ a perennial underachiever as Head Coach?

Because the idea of firing a head coach to the Rooneys is like a Replicator: some scifi hooey that doesn't exist in the real world.
