Everything going poorly for Seattle today, and the Saints are having the luck they haven't their past three games.

Not looking good for the good guys.

Just saw the entire state of Florida off from the rest of the continental United States and sink it in the Atlantic next to the Titanic.

Bucs lose because they’re the Bucs. You could have Jesus as the head coach and it wouldn’t even matter.

Give it back to Spain. I’m sure the Spanish government would love another “sovereign” group constantly trying to gain independence.

Raheem Morris

Greg Schiano

Lovie Smith

Dirk Koetter

It doesn’t matter who the head coach is. They’re gonna suck regardless.

You see why Bucco Bruce is the perfect mascot for this team? They strike out like an Errol Flynn lookalike hitting on uninterested twinks at an upscale gay club.

Didn’t Bucs have a timeout left? and Barbacue Bruce took a delay of game instead?

That seemed pointless and stupid but the kicker not being able to handle a 34-yard field goal isn't Bruce's fault. You're out to lunch on this one. They didn't use that timeout because they wanted to get the ball to a certain spot between the hashes for the kicker, and would need to use their timeout after that to make sure the clock didn't run out. Using a timeout where you're criticizing would've been unbelievably stupid.

I wouldn't blame you if you gave up your fandom of the Bucs and watch the NFL from afar. I occasionally keep an eye on the Niners & Raiders but it's no big deal anymore to me if they win or lose because they are owned by the Yorks & Mark Davis. RepublicFan56 has a nice ring to it.

Chiefs-Ravens was infuriating to watch from a Baltimore perspective.  Harbaugh's baffling insistence on taking eveyr risk imaginable in the beginning was justifiable, but not necessarily the best decisions imo.  Especially that 2-point try after the first TD.  What was he thinking?

Ravens had some super ticky-tack calls throughout the game, including a crap holding call that negated a huge run and an OPI call that should've been another holding call because the guy the refs busted for OPI was blocking, and Jackson threw a screen pass to another guy on the play.  But overall they deserved to lose.  KC the better team, Mahomes is ridiculous, and the Ravens' run defense was not nearly good enough.

Shades of 2018 Lamar throughout the game, he overthrew so many guys but overall wasn't terrible.  Made some very Mahomes-esque circus throws towards the end that kept us in it.  Just like it was an overreaction to declare him the MVP after two weeks, it'd be an overreaction to say he's totally overrated and the first two weeks were a farce.

I'd love to see what would come of this matchup at M&T Bank Stadium.  Two games at Arrowhead, two close KC wins where the Ravens stayed in it (and should've won one of them).

I can't speak for him but I can tell you that I passed whatever rubicon it is where you can see your team lose a game in an awful fashion and still be able to tolerate watching football for the rest of the day a long time ago because the Bucs gave me a ton of practice learning to do exactly that.

This is probably the first time I've heard someone say giving your kicker a closer FG would be "unbelievably stupid".

With the way kickers are right now, every yard matters.

a 29-yard FG doesn't seem as bad as a 34 yard.

Nice word twist. What I'm saying is the Bucs were keeping that timeout for one very specific reason - to kill the clock after getting the ball in their desired location for the field goal attempt. To use that timeout to stop a delay of game would've taken away any chance of doing that. And, at that point...lets be honest, if you're saying you would trust a kicker from 29 yards but not from 34, you've got a kicker problem. Five yards matter once you get into the 40+ range, but 29 vs. 34 should be a poe-tay-toe po-tah-toe situation. They weren't going to save the five yards by taking a timeout. Get on the team for not being ready to begin with and incurring the penalty in the first place, that's perfectly fair - it was a really dumb penalty to take - but what you're getting on Bruce for is something any NFL head coach would've done in that situation. That decision didn't lose the Bucs the game. Their chronically inept kicking situation, after blowing coverages repeatedly on the Giants' last drive, was what lost them the game.
