Consider this for one second. The Ravens, who by basically every metric are the best rushing team in the history of the NFL, threw the ball 60 times today. That. Cannot. Happen. Lamar was the least of the Ravens’ worries tonight. More concerning is how easily the defense’s lack of pass rush was exposed, the ridiculous worst-of-both-worlds, off-tackle-QB-sneak on the second 4th down, and the ridiculous affinity for dropped passes. This was my first time watching him - and he's the worst thrower I've ever seen (for a guy that's supposed to be great.) Hold me accountable for this post - Lamar Jackson will never win a conference, let alone SB championship. I saw all that I need to. He's lucky he's really fast, because he's not a great quarterback. AustinFromBoston
Yeah, Lamar is probably one of the best scrambling QBs in the league, but his biggest flaw is that he's terrible when he has to make throws. He improved a bit from last year, but as the Titans showed, if you can contain him & force him into throwing, their offense falls apart. Also losing Ingram was a killer for Baltimore too. dont care
I don’t think Lamar is going to get much flak for this loss. The dude ran for 170+ and threw for just under 400. Everything I’m seeing is praising his effort and also praising Henry and Tannehill.

I think they were doomed from the opening possession’s interception because before that they were moving the ball with ease. What I saw was a team who got down 14 on a couple of turnovers and then panicked because they couldn’t control the game on the ground at that point. They could’ve because there was 3.5 quarters left and it was plenty of time to go back to their script, play their game, and comeback, but it looked like they were really uncomfortable playing from behind. Meanwhile, it was the best thing that could've happened for the Titans what with Derrick Henry and all. It was a pretty brutal dismantling of the Ravens, though. If I was a Ravens fan I wouldn’t feel as great about the future of this team this morning as I did yesterday morning. I feel bad for Domata Peko who’s now 0-7 in playoff games. Yeah, it's really hard to picture them beating the Chiefs with less than 100 yard passing, however good their running game is. As a Viking fan I've had to listen to a lot of "experts" saying Kirk Cousins won't win the big one, so I'm just going to say... Ryan Tannehill? Super bowl champion? Sure. http://dstewartpaint.blogspot.com/

The only way Lamar Jackson is out of the league before age 27 is if he suffers a career ending injury. Even if he flames out as a starter, he'll stick around as a backup. (See III, RG.) If he totally flames out as a QB, some team will move him to a different position. (See Pryor, Terrelle.) As long as Jackson is healthy, he'll be in the league for a while. FinsUp1214
I’m not sure about any kind of narrative that Lamar was to blame for the loss. Yeah he made a few bad throws, but he also made some really good ones that receivers just flat out dropped, tipped, or in one near-TD case, literally just let bounce off their chest. Also put in perspective that of Baltimore’s 530 total yards (yes, you read that right), Lamar accounted for 508 of them. So yeah he wasn’t perfect by any means, but he wasn’t anywhere close to awful either. With Ingram being out for most of it and the receiving corps looking completely lethargic and disinterested, Lamar was really the only offense they had and they were really lucky to even score 12 points, let alone manage to rack up 530 total yards. I hope Lamar keeps playing well and stays healthy, because I truly do enjoy watching him a lot. As more defenses figure him out, perhaps he’ll struggle a bit, sure. Maybe he’ll flame out like RG III did, who knows, but I really hope he sticks around and keeps up a high level. And I think he will. Throwing 36 TD’s while also breaking the single season QB rushing record in the same season is something I figured you could only do in Madden, so I’ve got upmost respect for what he did this year. Red Wolf
Honestly, I feel like the Lamar supporters (or at least non-haters) are blowing the size and zeal of the opposition out of proportion. I feel like I've seen tons of posts here, on twitter, and elsewhere preemptively striking against the Lamar haters. Then again, I don't really listen to sports radio and my sports interneting is confined to a small space. Anyway, go Texans because the Chiefs are the only AFC West team worth hating for real anymore.
