I’m bummed the Niners lost, because they’re the local team and everyone I know is pretty sad today.

I definitely take solace in knowing a good portion of the reason why they lost is because Richard Sherman got exposed, though. All he did was talk trash for weeks leading up to this, got into it with Revis (who was right, btw), and then found a way to lose another game for the 49ers (this time while actually a member of the 49ers).

I used to think I didn’t like Richard Sherman because he was on the Seahawks. Now I’m pretty sure I don’t like Richard Sherman because I don’t like Richard a Sherman.

I really hope he goes away soon.

What's funny is the only good thing I would have taken away from a Niners win was another ring for Sherman, who we still adore in Seattle.

Sorry my local community jinxed your local team.

Why is that a bad thing? I'd get being upset if one team got called a bunch and the other didn't, but other than a offensive PI call that could have gone either way, I thought the officials did a really solid job. They let the teams play and we got a pretty solid game. Less penalties the better if you ask me.

It's a bad thing only because the camera caught several instances of blatant holding (on both sides) that was not only obvious live, but also on the replays.  Only saying it's bad because I've seen flags for much less in the regular season, but it's almost like they were told to chill out in the SB.  Consistency is all I'm asking for.

I was rooting hard for the 49ers, and there was a few times I was like "oh, crap" because of an obvious hold.  But then there was no flag, and all was good... until it wasn't.

1). As you should. He was fantastic for the Seahawks, and I still genuinely appreciate what he has to say on a lot of issues, both on and off the field. He’s a player, who while in his prime, I would’ve enjoyed the hell out of had he played for my team. But he’s been a real thorn in the side of the Niners his whole career. He just so happens to be just as detrimental to the Niners in crunch time as a member of the team as he was an opponent. Go figure. I sort of forgot how easy it is to dislike the dude, though. Glad he reminded me!

2) 🤷‍♂️  There’s a reason why I’ve never been a big Niners fan outside of the Kaepernick years. The Seahawks have BY FAR the most annoying fanbase in the NFL for so many different reasons. To be honest, though? They’ve basically just modeled their behavior after Niners fans, who are pretty much neck and neck when it comes to being annoying and belligerent.

I kinda hope some one actually refuses to accept the belt, because it essentially free advertising for the WWE. Teams should really consider designing their own championship belt like they do with the rings.

Or better yet, have one belt which the champion keeps until they are eliminated, relinquish and hand it over to the next champion.

I saw, I came, I left.

With the revived XFL launching this weekend (albeit as a property of a Vince McMahon-controlled company separate from WWE), I am a bit surprised that WWE would still award a championship belt to a Super Bowl-winning team or player.

They do that to every league champion: NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS, WNBA and even several European Soccer leagues.  They have been criticized for it.

NFL and XFL aren’t competitors.

I challenge you to an exploding barbed wire cage bomb match!

Make it a hair vs. mask match and I'm in!

You have hair right? Did I see that in the picture of people thread or was that somebody else? Either way, I'm in! I have a lucha mask I got as a gift. I can use that I suppose.

How about eyebrows vs eyebrows?
