Redskins have asked for CB Denzel Ward in return from the Browns for LT Trent Williams. Also trying to shop CB Josh Norman.

Too bad the Browns don't have Peppers to get rid of instead. Are the Redskins trying to get as many Buckeyes on the team as possible to bring in Urban Meyer?

Would it make sense for the Bears to try and make a run at Josh Rosen?

Since it's becoming clearer & clearer the Trubisky is a bust, and it's not like they have a 1st round pick to get a QB.

Bears would also probably be the best team Josh has been on. He still really hasn't had a chance to show what he can do with even just an average or mediocre team. I actually feel a bit bad for the guy.

Someone should trade for Teddy Bridgewater.

As much as I agree that teams should want him, I doubt the Saints would want to give him up before this offseason. They've seen they can be successful and still win games with him. Waiting to see if Brees remains healthy could be prudent.

They're short on draft picks and they're 2.5 games behind the second-place Vikings, their season is already over.

The dream scenario down here for all involved is that the Saints go to the Super Bowl, win it, and Drew pulls a Peyton Manning and takes his two rings into retirement.

Teddy has already proven himself as a capable Saints QB (and is beloved by the fans; check them chanting TEDDY! TEDDY! at the last two home games):

He then gets signed making a lot more than he would just about anywhere else (but not quite future HOF Drew Brees money).

It's important to note that Miami tried to sign Teddy during last year's offseason, but he declined and elected to stay in New Orleans for at least one more year as an understudy to Drew Brees.

It is what it is.

The Teddy chant was even brought out at the Jacksonville game.

Maybe not this season, but for next season.
unless Teddy becomes, there really aren’t that many decent QBs they could sign.

and they need someone while they have this defense together.

First the Dolphins pass on Drew Brees in free agency and then they fail to lure Teddy away from New Orleans, who is undoubtedly the heir apparent to Brees. That's gotta sting.

I'm happy that Brees avoided the Dolphins. He's had a successful career in New Orleans, with a franchise that has properly built around him. He hasn't gone through multiple head coaches and has managed to win a Super Bowl for a city that IMO, deserved it more than anywhere else at the time. He's carved out a legacy down there and the fans truly appreciate him.

If he went to Miami, he would mimic almost everything from Marino's career. I had no faith in that Dolphins' brass and all they would've done was waste Brees' career. He deserves better than that.

Looks like Jimmy Smith will be back for the Ravens on Sunday night. That’s good, because it means Brady will get to see less of Mr. 15-Yards-Off-His-Man himself, Brandon Carr. If there’s one QB who will quick slant you to death when he sees a corner giving too much cushion, it’s Brady.

There's just something about that kid that makes people love him.  Last time he was on the Vikings roster, he was still struggling back from his injury, he played fairly poorly in his only time on the field, and the Vikings' FO just couldn't bring themselves to take the chance that he'd ever be back.  And a large percentage of the fan base was still borderline suicidal when was wasn't resigned.

Teddy Bridgewater is just so damn lovable.

Honestly that probably the way to do it in cities like that. So much traffic and good for cardio before the game.

One time Seattle Sounders goalkeeper Stefan Frei was stuck in an Uber on the way to a game. He got out and ran the rest of the way in order to arrive in time for kick-off.

Fun fact: Frei used to live in my neighborhood and I would regularly see him walk his dog. The first time I saw him I was wearing a Sounders sweatshirt and I felt like a dork.

On Sept. 15, the SuperBook at Westgate Las Vegas posted odds on the Patriots winning every game during the regular season: Yes +1,000 (10-1) / No -2,000 (1-20). They must finish 16-0, meaning if there is a tie, the "No" would be the winner.

Out of the first 148 bets on the prop at the SuperBook, 143 were on the "Yes," including $5,000 and $4,500 bets from the same customer in October at shorter odds. One of the first five bets on the "No," however, was a $24,000 wager to win $2,000 placed on Oct. 2, but the SuperBook is still rooting for a Patriots' loss.

The 49ers, who are at Arizona on Thursday, are +1,500 to win all 16 regular-season games.

On Tuesday, Caesars Sportsbook posted odds on the two winless teams, Miami Dolphins and Cincinnati Bengals, to lose all 16 games. The sportsbook opened the Bengals at +2,000 to finish 0-16 and quickly took action from a respected player that drove the price down to +700.
