Biggest cut so far has been Lesean McCoy, but not really that surprising anyway. It has been inevitable for the past couple seasons.

You could tell by the moves this off-season that he was on borrowed time with the Bills. They were probably just hoping they could find someone willing to trade a late pick for him.

Manon Rheaume... She'll go 1-2 in one preseason game, and that will be it.

Wow - that's a name I forgot all about.  Hoping it's more than that... but yeah that's the likely outcome.

Also, she'll be 38 next fall.

Don't think that's an issue for a kicker, especially one who's full-time job for the past x years has been to stay in amazing shape and take care of her body.  Maybe if her coach and her decide that she needs to do a lot of strength training, the age could have some impact to injuries and limit to gains (that's around the time it started happening to me... not that I'm comparing my condition to hers), but I think it's mostly irrelevant.

And there's already stories about how he's begging to come back to the Eagles.  He's a complete scumbag of a human being.  I consider him to be subhuman.  Please don't put me in position to have to endure neanderthalic fans cheering for him.

Hopefully he works better than Sheldon Richardson, who was kind of a zero for Seattle.

I bet McCoy ends up back with the Eagles. His best days are clearly behind him, but BBTV excepted, it seems like the city had real affection for him. His best days in Buffalo were with Tyrod Taylor, but those days are behind the Bills.

The Texans are in "win now" mode with the Andrew Luck retirement and Bill O'Brien does this???

O'Brien cannot protect Deshaun Watson to the degree that he couldn't take the team plane to certain road games due to concerns over changes in cabin pressure!  They are also putting trust in injury-prone Matt Kalil at LT. Watson must be looking at Andrew Luck and thinking, "I'm about to join you brah".

And there's tidbit too...

Here is that draft class:

Round 1. Jadeveon Clowney (OLB--South Carolina)

2. Xavier Su'a-Filo (OG--UCLA)

3. C.J. Fiedorowicz (TE--Iowa)

3. Louis Nix (NT--Notre Dame)

4. Tom Savage (QB--Pittsburgh)

6. Jeoffrey Pagan (DE--Alabama)

6. Alfred Blue (RB--LSU)

6. Jay Prosch (FB--Auburn)

7. Dre Hal (DB-Vanderbilt)

7. Lonnie Ballentine (DB--Memphis)

Remember, they really don't have a GM since they fired Brian Gaine after he was only firing Black people, and their search was tampering with the Patrio

There are others that feel like me.  I'd even say a lot. His well-documented list of transgressions is out there for anyone to see, though some has been buried either by attornies or the league itself.  The police union would probably also not be happy about bringing him back, and while there's nothing they can do about it, it's probably important to maintain a good relationship with the cops that provide some of your game-day security.

Your average SPORTS fan that only cares about betting and dumping beer on visiting fans will cheer for him, but they'll also cheer for woman-beaters and other criminals.  While those people certainly make up the majority, the number that recognize what a dirtbag McCoy is as a person is higher than 1.

Bill O'Brien is trying to hit the "Refresh" button on the fly.

But he's taking two guys which another former Patriot coach didn't want to deal with and that includes Kenny Stills.

The Texans F-ing are rudderless!

So I'm just going to pencil in the Jags or Titans as the AFC South winner.

...and scumbag McCoy to the Chiefs, further cementing my opinion that Andy Reid cares more about football than he does about anything else, including his kids.  Dude is built up by the media to be some kind of father figure, but all he does is sign and welcome bad guys with open arms, and neglect his kids that end up in prison and dead.  Sucks that someone in the media got fired for saying the same stuff I've been saying on here for a decade.  Everyone gave me crap for being down on Andy Reid, and Donovan McNabb ("typical Philly fan, lol", "they win games every year, why you say they bad?") and now Reid has a dead kid and harbors criminals, and McNabb does nothing but get DUIs and lobby for his own HOF induction while getting more DUIs.  Go Chiefs.

If the Chiefs beat the Pats in the playoffs it's worth it.

Andy Reid never wins when it counts. So there's that.

Clowney to Seattle may be one of the most unbalanced trades of all time:

Seattle finally makes up for getting fleeced by the Browns in Draft Day.

3.  None of that matters if she's only a FG / XP specialist, and there's another KO kicker.  That being said, who carries two kickers anymore (last I can think of is either the Eagles back in the late '90s), and how would she (or anyone, for that matter) be that much better than the KO guy to warrant an extra roster spot?

The Panthers around 2010-ish had two kickers, one for field goals, and one for kickoffs who would just boot it unreturnably every time. Seemed unnecessary, but then I still don't understand how the same guy can't punt and placekick.

I always find myself getting super excited for football season, and then 2 minutes into the first game I go, “Oh yeah, every play is a penalty and you cant tackle anyone.” Football is wack now but my yearning for it will keep me glued to the screen every Sunday trying to recapture the magic of a once great sport that’s now farcicle.

That's why I mostly stick to watching old highlights or games on Youtube. I haven't loved the NFL as much as I did 10 years ago, and I'm okay with that.

I was the biggest fan growing up and knew all the players, even the lineman. I’ve made such a 180 degree turn its sad. Im convinced that everyone that still watches it does it only out of habit, and the reality of a fall without football is too much for people, me included. The product is just abysmal
